The Scene – It's all country, complete with Wrangler jeans, cowboy hats, big belt buckles and line dancing. But with a 3,000-foot dance floor and two main bar areas, there's plenty of room for your non-country friends to check out the crowd. – – The Draw – Friday and Saturday are the big draws with free beer and free food. On Friday, drink Coors Light for nothing from 9pm to 11pm and enjoy a complimentary buffet at midnight. On Saturday it's sink or swim--take your pick of free drafts from 6pm to 10pm or no cover charge. The Round Up lets you line dance to…

violent, drunk bouncers

The bouncers here will sexually harass females to the point of inappropriate touching. It has happened to me and several of my girlfriends. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Dissappointing. NOT a country bar.

I used to be a regular, and just went there for the first time in 2 years. Under new ownership, they fired the former D.J. and now play mostly Hip Hop and Dance music?? I was there for 3 hours and only heard about 4 country songs. I met another couple who mentioned they replaced the dance instructor with a gentelman who did not like country music or line dancing. He was there and is an incredible dancer, but not country. The crowd was mostly college kids who appeared to be very well behaved, but as far as country, the Round Up is no longer country.
- Pros: Good crowd. Decent people.
- Cons: 10.00 to get in.
Good People, Good Fun
by expertsteve at Citysearch
Best spot around to hang out with friends, meet new people and have a good time. Everyone is great, down to earth and friendly. Most people who have never been to a country bar love it and find its not what they expected. Variety of music, after midnight expect to see line dancing to Eminem and AC/DC intermingled with great county music. Stay for the final few songs, they will be slow dances to dance with your date or whomever you meet. Then at 3 a.m. you don't got to go home, but you can't stay there.
- Pros: Patrons, Staff, Music
- Cons: Parking
