Where NOT to go... Where do I begin..

When i walked in i was greeted by a lady in a costume and i wasnt sure if Gasparilla was still going on. I was recommended by a friend to come in search of a gown.

I couldnt even get two feet in the door before the lady was throwing merchandise in my face. All i could think about was where is the door! I just wanted to come in and look for a dress on my own without being bothered. I appreciate good customer service and insight from the associate lady but her perfume and outfit was so hideous that I wouldn't dare purchase something she picked out for me. I felt so trapped and thank god for my phone ringing I had an escape out of there! I would not recomend being helped by the elder lady of what not to wear!

A man's point of view...the upside of shopping. If you're ready for your next reality show stop by A'propos boutique.

It is pure escapism where all the ladies are stylish, fun and easy to look at.

Their engaging personalities made the dreaded chore of shopping a pleasurable experience.

Every customer left the shop with parcels and smiles.

The only downside is my wife has already planned to return next Saturday.

A'propos an Excitying Place To Shop!. I have had the pleasure of shopping in Beverly Hills, NY City, Chicago, Paris, London, Germany, Old Salzburg, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Canada to name a few. A’propos of Tampa Florida is still my favorite place to find the very latest in Fashion and have just a fun day shopping no matter how many times I visit

If you love fashion and want to add a unique timeless treasure to your wardrobe this is a place I highly recommend. Thanks Patti and Staff for keeping this place so spectacular……

Unique and Elegant. Never have I seen such a unique, elegant boutique! From casual wear to "red-carpet" dresses, the clothes are fabulous! The ladies who work there are so welcoming, nice and helpful which made the shopping experience fantastic. Truly the place to go if you want elite, fashionable clothes.

OUTSTANDING!!!!. Incredible store! You'd expect to find a store like this on Champs-Élysées, not South Dale Mabry Highway. Elegant yet affordable. Professionalism at it's highest degree.

Jack Tar. As a man ,with a beautiful wife I discovered Apropos over thirty years ago. The owner ,Patti, and all of the ladies who have changed over the years, represent the qualities of style and class that I expect when I shop. When your loved one has everything and the holidays are approaching ,Apropos is the place to go. They welcome you, serve you a beverage and help you to relax and show you some of the greatest clothes that you could imagine.These are fashions you won't find in big stores. Unlike a Dept. Store that hires parttimers for seasonal times Apropos is staffed with year round pros. By now these folks know me,my wife,and our likes. You will be the hero if you take the time ,the next time you need something special.

My Dress was a HIT!. The dress you ladies help me pick out for my Daughter's wedding was perfect, not matronly but appropriate. The compliments were endless! It's so hard to find formal wear in Tampa, but your selection is great for all women! Also the rehearsal dinner outfit was fun and funky and now one of my favorite outfits. I'll be back for my vacation attire. Thanks ladies, your GREAT!

Closest to a Parisian Btq. this side of the Atlantic. Wow! Amazing shopping experience. So many one of a kind items all arranged by size and color. I was able to go right to the XL area and for once not feel bad that what I liked was not available in my size! The courteous salespeople offered attention, care, alterations and refreshments. Even the fitting rooms are equipped with all a woman could need to dress for any occasion. There is something special here for everyone. Thank you ladies. "I'LL BE BACK".

Very Welcoming Place. I was greeted right away and loved this very unique Womens Clothing Boutique. After the review on Nov 22nd I had to go take a look and I am not sure this person actually went to Apropos in person. I am of ethnicity also and had a different experience. They were nothing but helpful . I even purchased one of the candles they burn in the shop because the smell was so good. Can's find what you are looking for at the malls you should check this place out.

attitude adjustment needed!. If you can stand to be treated with no manners, as you hand over a great deal of money for a dress then come on down to Apropos.I was treated like I did "not belong" every time I went into this establishment for alterations on my purchase. They even sent me a note of apology with a discount for a future purchase after I stormed out.Obviously they knew they were out of line! In these difficult economic times, I would advise going to a store where they treat you like they want your business. The help here need a lesson on how to approach customers and treat them with courtesy!
