I could not believe who awful this place was run...I was trying to buy beads for The Gaspar ,ask a question and was snapped @ by a guy who does Not like his job..I asked this Employee not once but three times for help and got nothing but a snarl..I will not be going back to Features for The Mamma Guva or Jose Very disappointed You should be ASHAMED of yourself..

Always a Great Shopping Experience For Me

I have shopped at Features Costumes on multiple occasions. I have always found them helpful and friendly. They also leave you alone when you tell them you are just looking around for ideals for your costumes. Don't let the negative reviews discourage you from shopping there to find just the right costume or accessory to round out a costume you already have as I did. They have a lot of choices if you want to buy or rent.

Bad customer service

So my boyfriend and I went to shop for our Halloween costumes on the Saturday prior to Halloween. We knew that we would enounter crowds since we were doing it last minute and we were more than willing to be patient. What we were not willing to deal with was the surly and negative salespeople that seemed almost angry to be waiting on us. It was also extremely difficult to find what we needed, and with no salespeople available (or willing) to help, we left empty handed. I am sure that this place is a treasure trove for those people looking for interesting costumes, but I would imagine that Halloween is a huge time for this business, and they were clearly not prepared and unwilling to deal with customers that were not familiar with the store and its procedures. I would not recommed this store and certainly not around Halloween..

I would like to start out by apologizing for any displeasure you may have towards the company due to me. I’d very much like to discuss the event that seems to have occurred as I would like to know what displeased you about me to correct the issue. I strive to make the best impression possible and I am truly sorry that you did not feel that during your shopping experience. Feel free to call us at (813)-835-0200. My extension is 202 so that I may talk to you, or you may call any extension and ask to speak with my General Manager JB. Both of us would be very appreciative for the feedback as to best alleviate the situation. As for your friend who had the poor experience as well, I would like to know her specific complaints for our company so please give her our number and my extension and ask her to contact us as well. Features Costumes & Bead Barn as a whole make our best efforts to help and assist customers in every way possible and I, once again, apologize for the lack of attention on my part.

Worst Customer service of all time!!! DON'T SHOP HERE!

As a professional make up artist for photo shoots, stage and screen, I can undeniably say that I know what I am doing when it comes to make up. This was the second time that I have been to Features within the last 6 months, and the same rude, impudent girl "waited" on me and my husband. Now, from working in cosmetic retail, I can understand a bad day, but both times that I visit, she happens to be in a mood?

Firstly, every question we asked was answered with an eye-roll or a sarcastic comment, and she literally treated us like cretans who couldn't possibly know anything about make up. A lady came in while she was "helping" us, and she didn't even make eye contact with her, and when the lady came back for a question, the girl snapped at her and her tone implied her calling the woman an idiot because she couldn't find a costume in the gigantic room of costumes! I felt bad for the woman, honestly... Plus, she kept talking smack about the other person who works there who "is a terrible make up artist who thinks she knows everything."

If I had wanted to be treated like an idiot by a histrionic self-obsessed girl then perhaps this would have been appropriate. And perhaps I wouldn't be so upset had this not been the second time that she has treated me this way.

I am not the type to EVER complain about such things, but this experience was ridiculous. Dont waste your time getting berated by a super-bitch when you need to buy make up-- it makes spending that money so much more expensive.
