Great shop, he has always been very honest with me about what he can and cannot do. He did an adjustment on my point and shoot camera so that I could "get some additional life" from it but was very honest about the cost of the repair up front. He also has done work on mine and my fathers Nikon DSLR's and has been wonderful about explaining everything!!!

Ted is absolutely the best. He fixed a 500mm lens Nikon would not take. He is quircky but that is part of the charm.

Ted is extremely skillful and very polite. I've taken my vintage Nikon FA to him on two different occasions for unrelated repairs. He provided me quick service at a reasonable price on both occasions. I found him to be very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend him to anyone needing camera service or repair.

Old school camera repair. Ted is a one man operation. If I have ever meet a more friendly, courteous helpful person, I cant remember when. And the quality of his work is VERY good. A real asset to the camera community. I have used him on a number of occasions, and never been disappointed.

Excellent Service.
Ted has always given me fast professional service. He understands the needs of the working professional photographer and does everything he can to accommodate us.
His rates are reasonable as are his turn around times. To the reviewer that thought Ted was not interested in working on low end cameras; I will bet you he saved you money as the cost for repair would have exceeded the value of your camera.
I have always found Ted to be honest and very knowledgeable about his work. I recommend him.

So very helpful!. I am a professional artist/designer who uses my camera daily. When the curtain stuck last week, I thought a part had broken and expected I would pay handsomely to get it repaired. I called Cam Tek to get a quote and idea of how long the repair would take, and the kind and patient man who answered the phone was able to walk me through fixing the issue myself in some 5 minutes - free of charge! How nice of him to save me the time and money it could have taken to have someone diagnose the problem. . . Don't go looking for free service, because no one can run a business on favors, but trust the integrity of this shop - honesty and straight talk in camera repair is hard to come by.

Ridiculously RUDE. I guess my camera wasn't "high end" enough for this place to even entertain the thought of helping me. The obviously foreign man behind the counter had about as much customer service skills as the dog next door. He could have at least been polite. >:-(
