!!!!! This is a response to Michael R. 's review. !!!!
I am the technician who went to this service call and i am puzzled about how a person can twist reality, lie and make false accusations trying to damage a bussiness. This is a good example that the customer is NOT always right.
Now let's get to the truth.
This dishwasher i serviced had no sign of life when i arrived. After thoroughly checking each component, including the main electrical 110V connection at the "wire nuts" at the front of the dishwasher, the conclusion was that
the control board behind the touchpanel was bad. At this point i already had spent around 20 minutes. But i took the extra step to unscrew the dishwasher and pull it out from under the counter. After further investigation i realized that the main electrical cord had another connection with "wire nuts" at the far back behind the
dishwasher, which is an improper installation and a fire hazard to begin with.
This connection got loose and started burning the wire nut which is the mentioned wire nut connection.
After quoting this customer for $110 he accepted and made the payment.
Now the facts.
i spend 1 hour at the customers house, NOT 30-45 min.
I am not a contractor; i am working full time with All Florida Appliance and A/c.
The regular price he had to pay would have been $55 (trip charge) + 70 (1 hour) = $125
i gave him a discount and charged him only $110 and told him that my company allows us technicians to be flexible and would be ok with my discount, i did NOT say that i can make my own prices.
i did NOT see any "elderly" in the house. i assume that he considers himself elderly (he looked like he is in his 30's the most)
i want to apologize for the language i am using but this is the language this customer used.
i want to make one thing clear..payment is for my knowledge/honesty/good workmanship...NOT for the hour i spend at the house.
throughout my career many times i fixed appliances within 20 min, where before me 3 technicians from different companies couldn't figure out what the problem was after 5 trips.
One might want to calculate the hours for those technicians and see how much it would cost if we add up the hours.
Why complaining now after i leave the house and the payment was accepted and not while i was there.
if "fixing the electrical wiring with an electrical nut" is that easy then why need a technician.
after all this unnecessary and unjustified drama the valuable lesson i learned is "Sorry we didn't screw you"
and Appliance companies beware of customers like this.
And to all customers with the same mindset like this customer, i can just say
"if you want us to work for FREE then don't call us, just do-it-yourself"
and i feel sorry for myself for wasting my time to reply to this "review".
While i worked for this company i serviced approximately 4000 customers and this customer is the 2nd person that was not happy with my service.
Final note: My employer does not know about this reply and would definitely not approve of my language, and even though i would get in trouble because of this , i had to defend myself and the work i did.
DO NOT USE!!! They apparently will send out a contractor who will be in your house for approx 30-45 minutes, fix the electrical wiring with an electrical nut, and then charge you $110 because the tech makes his own prices. He even mentioned that being they are allowed to make their own prices, they will take advantage of the unknowing and elderly....very shady practices and they won't refund the overcharges. Instead, they offer a "gift card" for the company to be used on the next visit which means, "sorry we screwed you but please call us back so we can take $40 off your next $100+ bill. Consumer beware!!!!
had good experience with All Florida Appliance some times it had worst due to delay in service but overall good for reappoint ..
They got the job done right, and they are reasonable. – They are professional, and reasonable. I had some issues, but they worked with me on price and solved that.
Any company who listens to their costumers is fine by me.
Honesty!! – A few months ago my Ac was working but very noisy, a company came out and said it was the compressor and it would cost $2100 to replace, since the unit was working me and my husband decided to save our money and call them when we had the cash. We now are ready for the replacement and but decided to call another company just to make sure and see if I actually got a good deal. I called AFA and got fast speedy service a tech by the name of Chris came out and confirmed the diagnoses, but he didn't quote me right then and there he said he wanted to research the compressor within 15 minutes the office called and told me that the compressor was under warranty!!! I was so happy the charge dropped down over 70%!! Thank you AFA for being a very honest company!! Highly recommened!!
Pleasantly Surprised – Initially, I had posted a venomous review about this company due to some issues that I had with my original install of my new A/C unit. To my surprise, I just had a 30 minute with the owner of the company who went above and beyond to make things right. The man who installed my A/C unit was very unprofessional but was new to the company and needless to say he no longer works for All Florida Appliance. I was very impressed with the owner and her genuine disdain and apologies for how my install went. I can't say I've ever had a company be this kind, compassionate and willing to go the extra mile to make sure that I'm a satisfied customer. I will definitely use this company in the future and recommend others to do so. Thanks again Miss Carolin (the wonderful receptionist) and Miss Heather (the owner) for your excellent service.
nightmare, Stay away, Very far away! – This company not only billed my credit card the wrong amount, but they lost their copy of the invoice which their tech had written my card information on. When i contacted them not only was i told that it was not their concern but when i asked about the total they didn't even have an answer. Not only was i over charged, i had to call them back within a week for the same repair. The tech who came out advised me that he would have to bill me once again saying someone must have come in the night and taken parts from my ac unit.(i live in a gated community) Not only do i have a non working ac unit, but i had to cancel my credit cards.
When we call them were told that the owner, Sherif Ibrahim does not come to the office and does not accept calls, when asked for management were told that no one is available. We welcomed to leave a note for them and someone can call us back. Well its been 3 weeks and 4 calls and its just the same thing.
When you look them up online, not only do they work out of a house, their license shows inactive in more than one business name and active again in another,..Makes you ask your self why would they ever change names or owners with the same last names...

As for the situation about the business name change the state of Florida assigned us a new state license & the business name had to change according to the air conditioning license rules.
