One of the BEST and EASIEST airports in the U.S. Easy access from Clearwater, St. Pete, Tampa, and Lakeland. Restaurants are very good. Quick time from ticketing to gates. In airport smoking areas at all gate concourses. (completely separate, enclosed areas ~ well ventilated)
Pros: Easy access, Comfortable gate area
Cons: Expensive parking

Having lived for several years in Tampa, and having flown to (and through) that airport several times since, I have to say TPA has to be one of the most organized & convenient layouts of any airport in the country. Good food, pretty relaxing surroundings (for an airport), easy to navigate, and just a short drive to downtown. What more can I say?
Pros: Good parking, Easy to navigate, Close to downtown
