A Must for all Tampa Visitors. This place has the best Cuban in Tampa. And I've eaten them all over the city including many shops in Ybor and west Tampa.

I've been eating at this place my entire adult life and some of my teenage years, and not much has changed. The large Cuban is very difficult to eat in one sitting. Very big and LOADED with meat, tomatoes, lettuce, and swiss cheese. I recommend it pressed, but not pressed isn't a bad decision either.

Their deviled crabs have been made in-house for the past few years and they are incredible.

You can't go wrong with the cafeteria stuff, either.

If you're frequently in Tampa, go before 11:30 AM or after 2:00 PM so as to avoid the large lunch crowds. If you're a visitor, go anytime...the wait and the crowd is worth it just so you get the opportunity to eat at a great Tampa landmark.

Authentic "Tampa" Food. I have been eating at Brocato's all of my life. The food is great - try the palimillo sandwich or a lunch special with all the trimmings. I also recommend the fried plantains. You will always see familiar faces at Brocato's , the atmosphere is light and casual. It is always very crowded at lunchtime so expect a wait, but it is worth it. You'll hear one of the Brocato boys yelling out orders and see him helping on the line, Dad still helps out at the counter as well. Most of the employees have been there long term as well. Stop in have a meal and a beer.

Best Cubans in the Bay Area. OUTSTANDING Cuban Sandwinches and Great Devil Crabs. Fun, Friendly atomosphere. Everyone should try this place at least once in your lifetime. Keep up the great work there.
