New owners are great. The food is still the best in the area. I love the chef salad and the Ranch dressing is homemade.

Don't Leave Us - Don't Go - It Can NEVER be the Same.. Peter and Sally have sold Carrollwood Deli after more than 14 years. We do not care what anyone has to say it will never be the same without them. No one can ever repeat the food, the charm and the passion these two have put into the deli. You both will be missed ~

Top of The Line. This is the way a place shoud be run. The owners and staff work hard to make everything enjoyable from the servcie to the food - you want to go and just stay and read the paper and enjoy the fun. Sometimes when they get busy they seem hurried, but you can see they have four people working. Once person runs the dinning room from getting drinks ordres, taking food orders, bussing tables and she might stop to attend to someone at the cash register or the phone. One person is delivery - so when he is gone, (and we've had delivery, he's great!!) they are down to three people. So be kind to these guys, they are working hard for us - show some kindness and patience, it's well worth it!

Best of The Best. We ask that YOU not pay much attention to the review that was here prior to our arrival. We have been and are customers of Carrollwood Deli since 1997. Carrollwood Deli, the personal, the food, the service, the cleanliness is beyond anyplace in the Tampa Bay Area ~ And we have tried other delis. The fresh baked bread, the soups the over stuffed sandwiches. Not a better place for lunch! Yea to Carrollwood Deli if in fact you did take the few minutes to relax and enjoy yourself.

Would other customers of the Carrollwood Delii, please resond to this person.

Unreliable Hours and Innis - More information for you.. It is disappointing when a business has unreliable hours. Closed 2:45 pm when the hours posted on door state that the place is open until 3:30 pm. I could see closing a few minutes early, but 45 minutes seems extreme. If you want to close at 2:45 pm I suggest you change your published time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------

Update: To answer your question. I have been an on and off customer. I love the food there but dislike the rudeness that is far too often presented to the guests. For this I have to take a break from this restaurant especially since two of my lunch regulars have a difficult time stepping in this door due to one of the owners rudeness. Knowing how to treat your customers and clients is key in the business world. People buy from people they enjoy/like.

I approve of the hours. I disapprove how I was treated as a customer 45 minutes prior to published closing time. I probably would not have an issue with it had she been polite about it.

Your personal accusations against me have no bearing on the deli or the owners/staff of the deli and are off topic. I will let you know though these two are not the only ones in the area who own or have owned a business.

I hope you get to enjoy the deli for a long time. I also hope the constructive criticisim can help the deli improve.
