The Scene
This north Hillsborough deli features dishes that, while not impossible to find around Tampa Bay, certainly are not regular items at every restaurant: smoked whitefish, baked salmon, lox, or nova. There are also scrambled eggs, bacon, grits and potatoes, along with French toast, lightly scented with cinnamon and swimming in maple syrup, or hot cakes.

The Food
If you're really hungry, try eggs Benedict—two poached eggs atop ham steak and covered with a creamy hollandaise sauce. For lunch, there are excellent homemade soups, big deli sandwiches, and homemade bakery items glistening behind glass in the front counter.
