This is a great Chinese food place. I live less than a block away and have been eating here for over a decade. Its family run and apart of our community. For the money, its the best Chinese food you can get.

I understand that people may have bad experiences, but if you are reading these reviews dont forget most people use the review sites to lodge a complaint. And people like myself who love going to a restaurant for a decade, dont think twice about logging on and recommending it.

I highly recommend Tung Tung Restaurant.

BEST CHINESE FOOD EVER. FIRST OF ALL I STAY WAY IN CARROLLWOOD , I DRIVE WAY ON THE OTHER SIDE TO GET TUNG TUNG FOOD.THERE FOOD IS SO GOOD I ORDER CHICKEN WINGS AND A LARGE ORDER OF SHRIMP FRIED RICE I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE .THESE COMMENTS ON HERE ,IS FULL OF SH** ,THERE SERVICE IS GOOD NEVER HAD PROBLEM WITH THEM MESSING UP MY ORDER .2 THUMBS UP. TUNG TUNG KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Unwelcoming service, bad food, and dirty waitress. I have always appraoched rating sites with a grain of salt and I am surprised to find the reviews here are quite objective with respect to this restaurant. When I first stepped into this place last Sunday, the waitress gave me a horrible experience. She could not understand English and could not carry on a conversation. I placed an order of Fried Chicken Wings, yet she gave me Chicken with Broccoli. These wings are subpar quality, much like a stale left order from previous customers. Addtionally, I found pieces of long black hairs in the bag.

I will report this experience to a government inspector to visit this establishment.

Please Avoid at All Cost!!!

Moral Bankrupted Restaurant, spoiled food/excessive MSG!. Hi, I recently consumed an order of chicken with broccoli from this restuarant and felt sick. The chicken was rather stale with reddish color and I wasn't sure if it's undercooked or just spoiled. A few hour into eating, I had to take tums to relieve my stomach upset. When I logged on to this website I saw New Tung Tung has failed the inspection of over 30+ counts, why is this dirty restaurant still in business? Why should the consumers be ultimately be liable for the unhealthy food consumed? I saw that on the inspection report, the agent observed "build-up of food debris, dust or dirt on nonfood-contact surface.bottom shelves of table ,storage racks" and "chemical", who knows what the chef in the back puts in my food. You prompt action is needed. I hope honorable Director Bill Veach is looking into this failed business and protect the welfare of the locals.

I know why I had a stomach problem after eating there.... Check out their latest inspection violations. Really kind of gross me out there. Will never return to the restaurant again!

Terrible. Dont' go near it. I live less than 2 miles from this place. I went there once when I first moved to my currrent house (in 2004) and have never gone back, nor will I. This place serves food that looks like Chinese but tastes like sweetend cardboard - if it has any taste at all. Forget it. This place is garbage! (Why can't I give it a rating of zero? That is what it deserves.)

Below average food, dirty establishment. Can you see the trend here? We went in for pickup and found the place to have that old smell that places do when they're not cleaned right. We forged on and got the food only to find later they gave us the wrong items. we called and were addressed by a rude manager who refused to give credit for ti.Don't bother here

best chinese there is. hey everybody I've read some of your reveiews and I got to say........."YOU'ER ALL A BUNCH OF DUMB ASSES" this especialy directed to the main reviewing morron with here snoby I'm better than you attitude tell you the truth you really broke my last straw today you make it sound like a coffin so let me tell you I like how it is I find the acctuall atmosphere wich you felled to mention great just to inform the readers the interior is filled with amazeing chinese art includeing some type of painting on the walls brillant lanterns and a budah and as for the food it's the best you'll ever find I have been to multipel chinese resturnauts and hav never found a red chicken they have there ohyaeh about that street I used to live near there and I like how it looks so watch your damb mouth. by the way to the person who found the insects there are none at the resteraunt so it had to be the dielivery boys car I mean think about it the arouma in his car has to attrack some insects .

Nasty food and attitude!. Hungry at home and low on groceries, we called Tung Tung for delivery. My daughter opens one of the containers, and an insect about a half inch long is immediately visible. She calls the restaurant back, explains she found an insect, and asks for a refund. The first thing the lady on the other end says, "you're a liar. I am going to call the police because you're trying to get a free meal." When my daughter further described the size of the insect, the idiot for the restaurant said (and I am not kidding), "Our insects are not that big." OH MY GOD. Eat and order at your own risk!

Avoid this restaraunt at all cost!!! 8[. I recently dined in New Tung Tung restaurant, however the experience was abdominal. As I witnessed that day, there are tiny dark insects crawling around in the dining area. In addition to unsanitary setting, the beef tasted extremely stale with noticeable odor. I am not sure if the meat had been properly stored in the refrigerator. While I was eating there, this Chinese cook was smoking and picking his nose at the buffet stand. HOW NASTY IS THAT? I will never go back there ever again.
