Tampa >St. Lucy's Vision Center
Response to Bad Experience with St. Lucy's.
I have found the staff and doctors at St. Lucy's to be incredibly kind, compassionate, professional and well educated. They are interested in their patients as a whole, caring for and protecting their eye health and vision for life.
I understand that all professional services come with a price, and I'm happy to comply with the reasonable fees associated with the quality eye care I've received at St. Lucy's. The office, instrumentation, knowledge and top notch staff my family has encountered at St. Lucy's is worth the peace of mind that I'm receiving the best care, as well as the fees for that care.
Horrible Admin. Staff.
Was Told: Your contact are here for you to pick up. Reality: Drove from S. Tampa to find my contacts were not only not there but, not even ordered. They had to ship them to me which took five EXTRA days.
Was Told: You’re not in our system, clearly you’ve never been here. Reality: was my eye doctor for 2 years.
Was Told: I can sell you a box of contacts, but I can’t give you a free lense. REALITY: my appointment was 3days away and my left contact had torn. Why buy an entire box if my prescription may change?
Was Told: your insurance if from January to December, this will be an out-of-pocket expense. REALITY: My insurance is from June-May.
Also—the guy that sells the glasses in the lobby stares at you strangely.
