Old reviews do not reflect current Bombay Masala

My husband was always a big fan of Indian food, I actually never tried real indian food, but I am a food lover, so I think that gives me the authority to review this restaurant.

We always call to pick up, so I cannot review the restaurant service, but, the calls to order the food make us feel very welcome, they already know us by our first name and repeat our order for us even before we tell them, it's definitely a plus.

My husband's favorite is the chicken tikka masala and mine is the butter chicken, I need to admit, I cannot deal with spicy food, the kind my husband eats and sweat his head off, but surprisingly enough, they can make mild real mild.

The best thing by far is the Garlic Naan, which is a baked flatbread full of herbs and garlic on top, which the best word I found to describe is "awesome".

Cons: Closed on Mondays

Pros: Big portion, good price, garlic naan is "awesome"

AVOID at any cost.. They CHEAT. BE AWARE.... Its a FRAUD.... Check your bill (for unwanted charges).We went for the first time to this restaurant thinking that it would have nice food and service. Food was okay. But the surprise was in the bill. When he brought the bill came, we saw 15% gratuity already included although we were only 2 people and even the menu mentioned adding gratuity for 4+ people. When we asked him about it, the person said you either pay it or leave. he said even for one person, we will put gratuity on the bill. He asked us to get out and was unapologetic. We paid in cash the bill minus gratuity but also took a copy of the menu as proof. He ran to take number of our car. I am also writing to attorney General of FL today. Its a FRAUD. BE AWARE......

Great. Outside of 6th Street in NY,this is one of the best I have had in the country. A little more than I wanted to pay but the food was excellent.
