Tampa >T.G.I. Friday's
Every night is the weekend at this bistro, where families enjoy American kitsch and cuisine alongside partying singles..
The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.
Sad to report this location is now closed!. The Fridays on Hillsborough by the also closed CompUSA is now closed. First they closed down in the international mall, and now the last nearby location for my office has closed. I hope they open a new one in Tampa soon to fill the huge gap!
Just what we wanted!. We used to eat eat here often, but haven't in years. Tonight, the service was instant! The food was well prepared and just as expected! Prices were great! What else can you ask for?
Going downhill. I use to eat there on a regular basis (once or twice a week), but my order has been wrong the past seven times I've been there and the staff has gotten rude. This is the location on Hillsborough Ave.
