Awesome pizza joint!. I have been going to Alfonso's since I was teeny tiny, and I must say, they have great pizza! The shop is cozy, the people are super nice, and the delivery boy was extremely nice. Beyond punctual; I was given an hour for delivery and it was delivered in about 20 minutes, hot and fresh. My grandparent's and parents have loved Alfonso's for as long as I can remember, and they're definitely a favorite in our pizza selection. :)

The best pizza in Tampa!. I took my family out to Alfonso's and it was delicious! The pizza was mouth watering. I can not believe its been there since the 70s! I ordered a large pie and took a bite into New York. It took me back to my old neighborhood in the Bronx. Alfonso's can count on seeing more of us! I heard they are going to start accepting debit cards soon. Can't wait for that!!

Worst Meal in a long time. The place was highly tauted by a friend so I thought I would give it a try. The pastas tasted like they came from a can. I would have enjoyed Chef-Boy-R Dee more. The bread was plain and tasted stale. And who ever heard of a restuarant without ice for drinks. To top it all off it was cash only so I had to run to MacDonalds to use the ATM to pay for the meal. In this day and age any place that does not take credit or debit is just poor public relations. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN!!!!!!!

Best Pizza To Fly Home.
My golfing partner, Brian, suggested I try Alfonso's Pizzeria. Brian, a New York native, takes his family to Alfonso's Pizzeria every Friday so I gave it a try. Of all the places I have traveled and dined, Alfonso's Pizzeria is the best! I travel weekly due to occupational requirements and dine out most every night. Typically I place my order leaving Tampa International Airport, pickup the pizza within 30-40 minutes, and have it home still hot in about 15 minutes.
Try the Greek Salad with Potato Salad and you will not be disappointed.

Afonso's is the best!. A co-worker of mine turned me on to Alfonso's years ago. My wife and I just love to go there and have a salad and a pizza. We travel alot (vacations) and have had pizza all over this wonderful country. When I'm out of town having pizza, I think: I can't wait to get home and go to Alfonso's. Thank you guys for being here.

The best thin crust around. The best mom and pop or any pizza around. Stop going to pizza hut or the others in town, if you want the best forget the rest. You can even get it by the slice.

One of my favorite pizza joints ANYwhere. I've eaten pizzas in more cities and more pizza joints than I could ever try to remember, and this place still ranks as one of my favorites. One of my "must stops" when I am within 50 miles of Tampa. When I lived down there in the early 80s I would go there for lunch probably a couple of times/week (back then the name also had Alfonso's brother's name on the sign too - he's still around, slinging pies too). Calzone and sandwiches are good, but the pizza is the main attraction.

Not that good. I wonder if the other reviewers are related to the owner. I was enticed to go there by the other reveiws, but found that the pizza did not live up to their raves. It was just okay at best. I won't be going back.

the best pie in the bay. I love alfonso's my boyfriend first took me there and its now my favorite pizza my boy friend is also from NY city and he says its the closest to NY pizza he has found in FL. They owners are super nice and they also have great Italian Ice!!!!!!!!

Yummy Pizza. Alfonso's pizza is the best. Alfonso's pizza can put any franchise pizza to shame. Unfortunately they close at 9:00 pm but it is a mom & pop type operation. If I bring home a pizza from a place other than Alfonso's my family always makes a negative comment about it. Alfonso's is the best.
