Tasty Indian Buffet!. Great food at a great price! We travel to Tampa several times a year, and try to find another Indian Buffet open on a Monday night - most are closed on Monday. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the ambience. We have always had excellent service however, and it's a cozy, clean place. Can't wait to visit again next week!…

There's a bunch of indian restaurants in the Tampa area, but this by far our favorite. The buffet is features a whole crapload of different curried dishes, delicious naan, a wall of mirrors so you can look at yourself stuff Tandoori Chicken into your mouth.

Great food, ok service..
I ate here a week ago with a couple friends. I grew up in the UK with some great ethnic foods, and since moving to Tampa have been looking for somewhere authentic and delicious. After reading some
less than stellar reviews of Taj, I decided to check this place out for my first Indian fare since moving to the U.S. The two friends I had with me had both been before, much to my surprise. Angithi is in a very unassuming plaza, and upon entering the restaurant, the first thing you notice is the horribly bland decor. If you're looking for ambiance, do not go here.
we were seated quite quickly and had our orders in within about 5 minutes. Now, the server we had didn't seem particularly thrilled to be there, but he wasn't rude by any means. I had ordered the lamb korma and a garlic onion naan bread. when they bring it out, they bring a big plate of rice for the table to share. First off, there are some very good portions here, and they did not skimp on the lamb. Also one order of naan bread could have been shared between two of us very comfortably, and man was it delicious. The Korma I had was medium spiced, and it was... absolutely delicious. Just the right amount of heat, very tasteful, without being over bearing on spice. I tried a little of each of my friends' and they were good as well. Lamb is a little more expensive, but definitely worth it. I probably spent about $20-25 after tip, and was very satisfied and happy to spend it.
Bottom line, if you can look past the crappy decor and don't let the unenthusiastic wait staff get to you, this is an excellent place for great indian food. Local Indian families eat here which is a good sign. I would recommend this place if all you're looking for is good food. not really date worthy.…
Worst Indian food in Tampa Bay. Their food quality especially at the lunch buffet is horrible. The food has no taste. Their food used to taste very authentic Indian, but it now tastes horrible and bland. Maybe they have lost their Bengali cook who was very good. They have started adding Manchurian dishes ( a mix of chinese and Indian food) which taste neither Indian nor Chinese and have no place on an Indian buffet. The overall food quality has gone down the drain. My advice, stay away and save your money.…
