A best bet if you're looking to indulge in good Italian cuisine without breaking the bank.. The Scene
Don't let Francesco's shopping center locale steer you away. Inside a cozy, albeit windowless, decor awaits--crisp linen tablecloths, candles and flowers on every table.

The Dish
Typical northern Italian dishes, from a cheesy manicotti to complex fish and meat entrees. The sliced duck breast in a demi-glace sauce arrived on a hefty china plate accompanied by spears of asparagus and a penne pasta in a wonderfully light and delicate tomato sauce. Everything was cooked perfectly. The pasta was delightful; the duck delicious. And the restaurant gets plusses for exceptional cleanliness--everything was spotless.

The Service
Excellent--attentive without being overbearing, and always friendly. Expect a tableside visit from owner Francesco Marchsini.

fanastic gem where you wouldn't expect i. Once you go to this restaurant, you become like family. The owner always comes to your table to ask about your food & to tell a few jokes or sing a song!! The food here is wonderful & inexpensive(they can probably only afford to be because of the neighborhood) BEST italian this side of NY!

singing in italian. The food is great and so is the atmosphere. And Francesco is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. One time my grandfather, who's from Italy, came to visit us from Michigan. We all went there together and he and Frankie really hit it off. They even started singing some song together in Italian and everyone in the restaurant applauded for them! Francesco really makes you feel welcome. atmosphere is really nice whether you're on a date or going out to eat with the family.

Very surprising!. We were given a certificate for a meal there and so decided to give it a shot.

We were thoroughly happy with our experience. You'd never know it from the outside of a strip-mall - but this place is actually pretty large, spacious and comfy inside. The place was full on a Friday night around 8pm and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. My wife and I both had seafood pasta dishes that were excellent.

They also had an incredible aged port that we happily sipped along with our deserts.

Give this place a go - they really make you feel at home and the quality will certainly bring you back.
