Avoid weekends and events. My first time here was during Howl-O-Scream 2010. The experience was absolutely awful. I went with a few Friends on a weeknight thinking the crowds would be a lot smaller since it was a school night. I'm not sure what all these kids were doing there, but it ruined the night for my group. I won't blame the kids so much because their behavior really has nothing to do with the park, but there should have been some sort or regulation going on. A little disturbing to see a bunch of 13 year olds dancing like strippers to the latest little pop tunes. Fighting your way through that mess is even worse.

I have a season pass and go weekday mornings when I can get the chance. It's a whole other world there at that time. The only kids running around are ones that don't speak a word of English. There are zero lines for all of the rides. The only downside to the experience are the tourists. I don't know if they just don't understand the concept of a wide walkway with people behind you or coming towards you that you're supposed to move to one side, not the whole damn walkway.

Many of the ride employees make it far too obvious that they hate their job.

The rides are fun. Gwazi will tear you apart... and not i a fun way. The ride is rough. The Scorpion sucks. Shiekra is evil. That straight down drop took me 3-4 times to get to the point where I was willing to get back on.

The food, as any other tourist trap is, is stupid expensive. If you're going to eat, do it before or after you raid this park.

AWFUL!. i went here for vacation and i couldnt be more disappointed.. there were many fat women running around in small bathing suits and my kids were with me! that is unacceptable! the roller coasters were fun but all of the workers made my experience worse..everyone was in a bad mood and told my kids to shut up! that is also unacceptable.

A Great Park. Just want to point a few minor mistake. a) Gwazi Wooden Coaster is actually not that old. Only 9yrs old. and B) 4 coaster serve as the big anchors for the park

All I have to say is Busch Gardens Tampa is one of the best park around. Not so many rides like other amusement parks, but it has variant animals and vegetation. I always visit Busch Gardens each year. This year they have a new area called Jungala and it is an amazing beautiful area filled with nice vegetation, animals and rides for the younger ones. And its close to the 2 bigger coaster SheiKra and Kumba. Def a must visit

#1 Fun Place In Florida for Amusement Parks. This place rocks. We were in Florida for 9 days and did everything we could from Sea World to Disney World to Busch Gardens to Ft Walton Beach. Busch Gardens was the MOST fun by far. Sea World is great too so get the ticket where you get a discount on both. I highly recommend it.

Best Roller Coaster Ever. We went to Busch Gardens in April for Spring Break 06. We had the best time!!! The weather was wonderful not too hot. The new roller coaster Sheikra was the best ever. This roller coaster is amazing. The other ones are awesome too but this one is the best ever. We will go back to Busch Gardens each year. If you have a teenager this is the place to go.

One of the most beautiful parks I have been too.. Our family visited Busch Gardens a few years ago while vacationing in Florida. What a beautiful park!! They obviously take great care and employ many gardeners to have this appeal. The rides were fun and my kids enjoyed seeing the animals at this park. We were very inpressed and hope to visit again when we are in Florida.

Lots of stuff the family, more than just coasters, coasters are killer!. There is so much here for the entire family. There are rides for the toddlers, as well as the Dragon's playland for the climbers. They have plenty of more relaxed attractions like a circumference train ride, a sky ride, an enclosed safari monorail, and various natural animal attractions. This is Anhauser Busch's park (hint: BUSCH GARDENS ), so they have clydesdale paddocks where you can check out these magnificent beasts. For you beer lovers, you can enjoy 2 free small draft beers in various places.

The food is great. There are many other eateries from fast type food to a nicer restaurant near the entrance. You can eat outside in cafe style or eat indoors. The prices range from modest to very expensive. Lots of side yummies too.

Moving on, they periodically have street performers such as you may see in Africa as well as a neat little marching band that parades through the streets. There are many variety shows that keep with the African/Morrocan theme. I just noticed a 3d pirate show on the web I haven't seen yet.

For those who like a County Fair, they have an area where you can win stuffed animals and such. Don't try anything at the start of your day. You may have to carry a stuffed tiger bigger than you! Now this area can cost a bit depending on how many times you let them talk you into throwing a ball or 2.

For the thrill seekers, there are many great roller coasters like the Kumba and the Montu to name a few. If you want to get wet, there's Stanley Falls and Tanganyika Tidal Wave. If you stand on the bridge, the Tidal Wave will drench you when it drops down and splashes into the water below!

The summer is hot, and the lines are long, but what did you expect at any park in the summer? The world likes Florida. Sorry! Try late Nov/early Dec if you don't care to get wet. I rode the Kumba 3 times in 10 mins!

One last thing. They have gay days, so plan accordingly. You can schedule your church or school for kids camps or up close animal encounters.

Roller coasters dominate the landscape at this major Tampa attraction.. Overview
What began as a brewery surrounded by colorful birds and gardens is now as one of the area's biggest attractions. It's not for the timid: roller coasters twist, turn and plunge, while water rides provide a welcome splash.

The Experience
Three coasters serve as the park's anchors, including an old wooden one and an inverted coaster. Stomach not up to it? Enjoy the gorillas and the Edge of Africa safari experience. Some 2,700 animals roam the habitats until the heat takes its toll, making them sedentary in the afternoon. The Land of the Dragons playground for youngsters may inspire the young-at-heart to wish they could squeeze through the kid-sized tubes and slides. Less adventurous types can browse through the African-themed shops, cool off during a show, enjoy outdoor cafes or savor a hot meal in the family-style Crown Colony Restaurant. No need to count calories--you'll easily walk them off.
