RUINED WEDDING DAY!!! JUST WALK AWAY.. You must not use this place if the event or reason for renting a tux is important to you because it certainly is not important to Frank. He is arrogant, stubborn, unable to differentiate between reality and what happens in his mind a most worryingly, Frank is a thief. I rented 5 suits from this place for my wedding and he received the deposit months in advance yet still failed to get the suits until a few hours before the wedding ceremony. They arrived dirty, creased with mints and napkins in the pocket from the last renter. Because he ordered them from his supplier so late, they were ill fitting. The shirts and ties are cheap nasty polyester and could do with a wash. If all of this was not bad enough, he refused to admit that any of this was a problem claiming that it was normal and acceptable service. He did offer to iron them for me and pushing the wedding ceremony time back a couple of hours shouldn't be a problem!!! He lives on a different planet! Normal service would be to offer some sort of refund as we didn't get the service promised but Frank doesn't do refunds. This guy may have been good some time ago but he has retirement plans now and the pot is short. He needs to make as much money as he can in a short amount of time and he doesn't care who he rips off in the process. Please please please just spend the extra few dollars and go to a reputable chain store like tuxedo junction. This man WILL rip you off.
YELLS @ CUSTOMERS, Bad Service, Tailoring & Quality.
I have used this place on several occasions for tuxedos, tailoring and more. Each time I went for tailoring, my belt loops are in the wrong place, there are holes in the inside of my pants, and it is never done on time. I gave him (Frank) one more chance. Recently I had two expensive pants (Tommy Bahama and Joseph Abboud) tailored. He said it would be done in a week, I called in advanced and he forgot to do the pants. I came in after they were done and I noticed there were several issues with my pants. FRANK YELLED AT ME BECAUSE I SIMPLY ASKED WHY THERE WERE HOLES IN MY BRAND NEW PANTS. HE THEN YELLED AT ME TO LEAVE THE STORE AND FIND A NEW TAILOR IN FRONT OF SEVERAL OTHER CUSTOMERS.
Please keep in mind I have given Frank a plethora of business from me personally and from my company for conferences throughout the year. For him to treat a long time customer like this, when the quality of his work is sub par should speak volumes on how he runs his business. If you decide to use his business I wish you luck but be prepared to be disappointed.
Horrible Customer Service!. I rented a tuxedo for my fiance from this place. Five days before the wedding we were supposed to try on the tux and Frank ordered the wrong tuxedo. I was frantic to find another one so we found one in the store that was similar to what I wanted. My fiance tried it on and Frank was supposed to hem the pants. We did not have time to try on the tux and Frank assured me that everything would fit fine. The day of the wedding the pants were way too long and my fiance looked ridiculous. He kept stepping on the pants - it was horrible. Because they were too long, the bottom of the pants got dirty and tore slightly. My mom dropped off the tux while I was on my honeymoon and Frank charged my American Express another $150 to cover the cost of the pants. I had no idea about these charges. When I went back to the store to explain myself, he was completely unreasonable and denied any wrongdoing. This man made my wedding so stressful and my husband looks so ridiculous in the wedding pictures. Please heed my advise and stay away from this store. Frank is very unorganized and greedy. My biggest mistakes were going to Frank's and Olga's.
