Great cut, color & Stylists!!.
Honestly, after reading the reviews of people going back and forth about Alix (<-how you spell her name) I'm not gonna lie- obviously she has something to offer that shes getting several people writing reviews all about her! And I'm going to be the next to do so.
I am a cosmetologist myself, meaning- I am extremely picky when it comes to having someone do my hair. Alix is my stylist. I have never ever had anything less than pretty much every single person I meet at the salon I work at that is in Orlando wondering who does my hair and complementing how great I look. I travel over an hour everytime I want my hair done just for her. Not to mention when I get married next Spring- she will be doing my hair for that too! She does everything so no matter what you have an idea to do- it will look great on you and not just a "cheerleader look" for a fifty year old.
As far as Salon Salvatore Christian- its an awesome salon, with a very friendly and talented staff that always keeps up on their education. Also if you can't see Alix- I reccommend Kate as well. She is extremely talented and I have never seen anyone dislike anything she has done!! Great cuts and colors!!
Is it more hilarious that a satisfied client who has been seeing Alix for years can give her a great review, or that some cheap loser can give her a negative review without having ever have had so much as a trim? Or, is it more hilarious that I know for a fact that the friend of queenofdepression continues to see Alix on a regular basis and loves her hair every time she leaves the salon? Perhaps it's even more hilarious that you decided to get involved in this as well.
Well, guess what...I don't know you...I don't even know what you do but I want everybody who reads this to know that you a bad at what you do and they should never go to see you professionally.
Their best stylist Michael doesn't work here anymore :(.
Michael was great, he was very talented with both cuts and color and was wonderful with the customers. Since he left, the customer service kind of went a little downhill. My friend uses a girl named Alex. I stopped going to the salon after Michael left, but my friend has Alex do her hair. I haven't met Alex, but I'm not impressed with her work. It seems that everytime my friend goes for a cut, color and highlights, she misses an entire section in the back of her head with the highlights. Also, she is young, and most of her clientelle is young. She gives the same haircut to a tiny petite 25 year old as she does to a large woman in her late 50's which is not attractive in the least.
Michael knew exactly how much to cut, how to style and what colors to use, and he never missed a spot....If they hire him back, I will definately go back there. Sorry Alex, but a woman in her late 50's doesn't look attractive at all with a haircut that belongs on a cheerleader....just an observation.
Best Salon in all of FLORIDA!!!. You shouldn't go anywhere else but Salon Salvatore Christian!!! Make sure you see my stylist, Alix!! She is the most amazing stylist! I have been to so many different stylist in my lifetime, and none of them can capture the perfect image for me quite like Alix. She knows exactly how to map a cut and color for my face, not just an ordinary look..she makes it personal for me. I can honestly say that I have not looked this great in years!! Alix made this Stella get her groove back!! Salon Salvatore Christian has such a friendly crew and they always humor me! Loves it and you should too! Go visit Alix- she'll hook ya up with a great look!
Interesting place. If you like tatoos, piercings and bad language -- this is the place for you. Also, ladies, keep an eye on your purses!
I LOVE my hair!. I have been going to ssc for a few years now, and have seen a few of the different stylists that work there. Every time i walk out of there i love my self even more. they make me feel great not to mention how awesome my hair looks when i leave. I have never met a group of stylists who i feel really care about my hair. they are very well trained and advanced in up to date looks. i would recomend anyone check out this salon!
Great people. My wife & I have been using Salon Salvatore Christian for about 3 years now. I usually have Chris cut mine, and he always does an excellent job. My wife usually has Jennifer do her hair, also getting highlights, with mutiple shades .... not sure exactly what you call it, but I know it looks awsome ... as for me, I just let Chris do his thing, and have never been dissappointed. The atmosphere is great, I am always greeted by name when I walk in. Having my own business, I can tell you these people know customer service. I'm not one to usually write reccomendations, but have sent a couple of my freinds there , and they have been happy with the service, so I do not have any reservations giving them the thumbs up.
Terrible customer service!. I met with two stylists at different salons before settling on SC. (Note about the receptionist: the same person who made my appointment for me a few days earlier couldn't find it in the system the day I showed up.) I settled on SC because the stylist, Daniel, impressed me in the initial consultation, despite the negative citysearch review by the lady whose color turned out poorly and she couldn't get her stylist to call her back. Daniel seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and what I didn't want. He also seemed confident and knowledgeable about color, cuts and his products (the salon carried Redken). My hair is naturally dirty blonde and I have been getting foil highlights for years, but I was looking for a more dramatic, all-over effect and a warmer, more buttery blonde color. I also wanted to get more layers put into my waist-lengt thick hair, to take off some of the weight. Daniel had a very different technique for applying color than my old stylist, but I trusted that he knew was he was doing and that it was going to turn my highlights into a Sienna Miller-type blonde. He applied two products. Once my hair was washed, he did my cut, but insisted on using a razor instead of scissors. At the end, my cut appeared the same as it was before, just frizzier. My color seemed to have darker streaks in it but Daniel assured me that it was my natural color coming through. When I came home, I realized it was not only not my natural color but it was brassy, reddish and unflattering to my face. He had put in lowlights, without me asking for them. He gave me Redken shampoo, which, despite all his promises was awful and dried out my hair beyond belief. And it cost $15 for a 10 oz bottle! I called and left messages on three seperate occasions over the course of 4 days. My calls were unreturned. The receptionist accused me of no showing for two appointments, which never happened, because I was never called back. I took my business elsewhere.
I love this salon!. I have been going to this SOuth Tampa salon for nearly 2 years now, and I love it. My hair looks fabulous each time! My stylist knows her stuff and is extreamly professional! Every person in this salon amkes you feel like a VIP....I highly recommend it!
No Customer Value.
After my stylist was done I mentioned that some highlights looked a bit green. She told me it was the lighting and I should go home and see how I liked it. I called the next day to ask if my hair could be fixed because it looked horrible. I was told my stylist would call me to discuss the matter and set up a time to come back in to fix it. I never received a call. I paid $200 for a cut and color that the salon would not rectify.
Also the fuse kept blowing while the styling was done. It is awful to have to stop and go with the process.
