I went to Mikel's for the first time yesterday after a friend recommended them. I really appreciated the time Tabby took with my hair. I usually feel rushed at other salons and she listened to what I wanted and gave me the exact cut I had in mind. I've been in Tampa over 2 years and have finally found my salon!

Mikel's truly gives you a great EXPERIENCE. From the snacks and drinks to the free upgrades (neck and shoulders massage? yes please!) to the great advice, my visit is always great. The entire staff is always welcoming and everyone is eager to give you useful tips on products, tools, styles, etc. Luis gave me a blowout that was so perfect that I didn't even need to straighten my hair for days. He also gave me an amazing cut that was exactly what I wanted. He made my hair look so healthy I didnt' even recognize it. I've also had Dillon K, April, and Luis and they have all done great jobs! I'm also a huge fan of paul mitchell products!

Dillon K is amazing! Not only is he a great stylist, but he does great color as well! I have been going to Dillon for 2 years now and would not go to anyone else. He's the best!

Dillon K is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! He is an extremely creative, caring professional who can apply the latest hair trends to fit anyone's needs. Every time I leave the salon I feel and look stunning because of Dillon K. He is incredible just like the business is.

LUIS is AMAZING! After crazy hair experiences, I found my stylist! He knows hair and does a great blowout, with no need for a flatiron! Not only is he fabulous, but he makes you feel beautiful wth a new do!... a bonus is he is bilingual! His amazing talents are complimented perfectly with Mikel's Salon. I can't get enough of their great atmosphere; from the Color Bar to their Quiet shampoo room! Who doesn't want a complimentary massage and treatment while getting your hair washed?! Choose any two out of their great options. This salon is a MUST go to!,

Today was my second visit to Mikel's and it was just as great as the first visit. I found this salon by driving by. It was a great find! The staff is very professional and friendly and they definitely know their products well. I have to brag on my hair stylist. Luis Jimenez is extremely talented. The first time I went in I thought well this is going to be like any other first hair appointment. The stylist will "play it safe" since they don't really know me. To my surprise Luis listened carefully to what I wanted and gave me exactly what I was looking for. I have been wanting layers cut into my hair in the back but not around my face but no stylist has been able to really get the look I was after until I found Luis! It is amazing that he got it right the first time! I have gotten more compliments on my hair since I started going to Luis than ever before! What a gifted stylist and fabulous salon!

You have gotta get to Gina's chair!!! Every time I see her, I am leaving with an amazing color and cut. Gina is extremely knowledgeable about hair and pays attention to detail. To boot -- This salon has a great atmosphere and friendly staff --- just a wonderful experience overall. Thank you Gina & Mikel's

I get my hair done by Gina. She is always so friendly and knowledgeable! I have never had such wonderful hair in my life! I am extremely picky about things, but when it comes to Gina at Mikel's, I have nothing to worry about. I never go in with a plan of what i want, I let her do whatever she thinks would look best on me, and she is ALWAYS RIGHT! Her attention to detail and passion for what she does is exactly why I will always go to her! :)

Mikel's is definitely a great place to go! The ambience is great; the staff is super pleasant and talented. Although I started several years ago with Samantha (and was very satisfied), when Gina joined the Paul Mitchell Experience I decided to give her a try, and have been returning ever since! She gives me the exact color I want (and need!); Gina shares her ideas with me regarding cut and style, and explains the why's and wherefore's in detail. In addition to my having a satisfactory, relaxing and ego-lifting experience, my husband and many friends do not hesitate to compliment my "do". I look forward to my trip to the salon and Gina!
