Missi White is awesome! She has an eye for the right hair color for your skin tone. My highlights have never looked better. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great colorist and/or stylist in Tampa Bay. She is professional and friendly and is always running on time.

I went to French Accent Salon for the first time and got a fabulous haircut and style by Missi White. She totally embraced the vision I wanted for my thin straight hair. Now I have voluminous layers and beautiful big curls. Missi is very friendly and easy to talk to. She is also knowledgeable about hair products and gives good tips on ways to style your hair on your own. I have even scheduled another appointment with Missi for highlights. I have never professionally colored my hair, but I’m excited to have Missi highlight my mono-tone colored hair to make it even more fabulous and add more depth. I can’t wait to see my new look!

Get your next facial from Candy; or if you're not on a regular facial schedule, start with her now. Candy has been doing my face every month for nearly six years. As a result, I'm 102 years old and don't look a day over 50. Okay, that's not completely true, but Candy truly has rescued me from a bad gene pool and has essentially slowed my aging process to a crawl. Each month's facial is a different experience that she creates based on what my skin has gone through that month. She also shares plenty of information for problem-solving. My first facial (a gift from my boss) was literally life-changing for me. I don't usually get that lucky.

Missi White; If you want a fantastic hair cut, you need to have a session with Missi. She has been cutting/styling my hair for three years, I drive almost an hour to see her. I have thick, wavy, colored hair and she manages to get rid of the bulk and this has enabled me to get out of my short, helmet prior hair style and move into a shoulder length style. Family and friends have commented about my "new look" saying I look younger and more beautiful! Missi gives me wonderful advice on hair products, she takes time and always consults with me and evaluates my hair. No cookie cutter, quick in and out. She is a professional and very knowledgeable. My husband now see's Missi and he is very particular and he loves her also. Can't go wrong with Missi.

Douglas-The Master of Color. I've been going to Doug for 18 years and my mother drives from Orlando to get a professional cut and color. He does sometimes run late but always makes it up by showing you ways to style your hair. HE is in high demand. I've referred many people to him and they all love him too.

HE has cut my hair short and also long depending on my weight and what looks best. I trust him to do the right thing and know he is because of the many compliments I receive.

NEGATIVE STARS 4 HI-LITES & SERVICE BY DOUG AT FRENCH ACCENT. WARNING: DO NOT GO TO DOUG FOR HI-LITES OR COLOR! I was a client with Doug for over 5 years (looking back that’s my mistake) and traveled half-way across the USA for these appointments - NEVER AGAIN!!!

Doug only knows how to do thick, chunky, bleach blond hi-lites unevenly throughout the hair. Doug's a one tool in the shed hi-lite stylist. And, the only color Doug knows how to work with is blond – someone at French Accent said, he does love his blond. NewsFlash: There's more to the hair world than blond!

The hi-lites that Doug put in my hair were thick, chunky, uneven and ranged from pure white to putrid gold (the exact color of urine) to medium brown at the roots - all on the same chunk - medium brown is my natural color, so roots were showing along with the 4 other awful hi-lite colors on the same strands - NOT ATTRACTIVE!

THE HI-LITES LITERALLY LOOKED LIKE A FIVE YEAR OLD HAD DONE THEM.

I’d asked Doug to put in subtle, natural looking hi-lites this time (after making the same request many times before) and Doug still couldn’t figure it out! Doug thought he’d done a good job – LoL – you’ve got to be kidding me! Earth to Doug, you might want to pay attention to what your clients want and lookup the definitions of client, stylist, service provider, vendor, subtle and natural on thefreedictionary! You’re obviously confused.

Doug was unwilling to fix his work and I believe it’s because he DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DO ANY COLOR CORRECTION – Oh yeah, if he does NOT KNOW HOW TO DO HI-LITES in the first place, how can he fix what he’s done so horribly WRONG!

He was 35 MINUTES LATE to the 9:15 a.m. appointment, showing up at 9:50 a.m. and then it was 15 minutes to setup – so, DOUG KEPT ME WAITING 50 MINUTES for an appointment that was scheduled weeks in advance.

Unprofessional, late, arrogant, horrible listener, terrible colorist, but he does give a good cut.

Recommendation: Get another stylist to color your hair and maybe let Doug cut your hair.

Doug you should be ashamed!!!
