A Reuben that is to DIE for!. And their vegetarian veggie soup is a great complement to it. You definitely won't be disappointed if you like great food at reasonable prices and a bustling atmosphere.

It's so serenely tucked into the neighboring hodgepodge, it's easy to miss this popular South Tampa lunch and sandwich spot.. The Scene
The emphasis has always been on "homemade" and fresh ingredients. It may be only a sandwich shop with a half-dozen tables, but the menu certainly provides plenty of options from which to choose.

The Food
Try appetizers like cheese toast points or stuffed eggs; dozens of different sandwiches, ranging from a beautiful California chicken salad made with raisins and sliced almonds to a New York style Reuben swimming in sauerkraut; soups, salads of all kinds, even Cubans. The sandwiches are so heavy with meat, half is plenty for those with small appetites--and you can have the other half wrapped for take-out. If you're still hungry when you finish one of these babies, you must either be a bottomless pit or somewhat of a glutton. In either case, don't stop there. Try the excellent desserts like New York-style cheesecake squares, and tender, fragrant hand-made cookies and brownies.
