Horrible experience. I came here with 5 of my friends for a little birthday celebration. The food was pretty good and we all like the atmosphere of this place. We were enjoying our experience here until the end of the meal. As we were about to get up and leave the table, our waitress counted the tip right in from of us to make sure we gave her enough. It was the most awkward moment ever and made all of us feel really uncomfortable. I know we tipped well but while counting the money, the waitress called us RUDE!. I have NEVER been anywhere where the waiter counted the tip in front of me and complained that she had to serve us all night(even thought it was only about an hour). I will never return here ever again!!

MMMM I love there sushi. I love going here the sushi is to die for!!! I crave it!! The service is good the food is excellent

Unpleasant Experience - Tampa Location. Called ahead and made reservations for a party of 7. We were seated promptly on arrival, but in the wrong location, staff confused my name with another, after I had repeated it several times. 30 minutes into our dinner we were asked to move to another location. An hour after ordering we were told that kitchen staff was not present and some dishes were taking longer than usual. We were polite and offered to wait. When food did arrive it was all cold and below average. Sushi was average, and better can be found at other places in Tampa. My bill for the evening was $165.00. Despite our poor experience, and sub-standard food, staff was more than happy to swipe my card without even a sorry. I've had sushi at several restaurants in the tampa bay area there is better. Despite our horrible experience, the sushi wasn't worth the hassle.

Dissappointing. After making a reservation and being seated, a larger party came in and they moved us! We were in the middle of eating. After being moved they made no attempt to correct their error or make us happy. They brought some members food serperately in 10 min intervals and some of the dishes were competely cold. When I told the waitress she responded by saying, she told me they were short a chief. As if I should understand poor service, cold food and rude wait staff.

A chain that doesn't disappoint? Finally.. The Scene
Chain restaurants usually arouse immediate suspicion, and with good reason. We're used to them producing the same tired, unimaginative food that appeals to the masses, rarely revamping their menu or offering anything unusual.

Luckily, JoTo is different. Their sushi is some of the best and freshest in the Bay area, and their service is courteous and swift. Order from an extensive sushi menu, or, for the less adventurous, sample their decent variety of surf 'n' turf.

Sushi Rolls. The best sushi in town! Sit at the sushi bar and feel free to talk to the chefs- they are very friendly and willing to explain what they are making and how. Fresh ingredients. Great combinations. Will leave you craving more!

Just the way I like it. the only Japanese chef sushi resturaunt I have found! Makes a difference, try the scallop sushi and the rolls are oishi! (great!)

Good Price. This restaurant has good sushi/sashimi/tempura. Salad dressing not consistent. Inexpensive and comfortable seating.
