Best Prime Rib in Tampa. Excellent prime rib. Best I have found since moving to Tampa. And I have tried alot of places here.

Fast service, Friendly, Clean, business atmosphere at lunch. Prices are on the high side but you definately do not leave there feeling like you need desert. You get more than enough food and everything was good.

Uh, this is not Cajun Food!!. Chain restaurant, say no more. I guess if people have no idea what Cajun food is, then they know no different!! Just because they call themselves Creole or Cajun, doesn't mean they are. I could not find anything Cajun at all and was very disappointed, Pasta? Baked Potatoes? Tuna?. Just another chain steakhouse.

Great all the way around. Have visited this restaurant several times. Each time the service has been very accomodating. The food has been very good, and the mood enjoyable.

A real find in Tampa. Yes I know its a chain but it's a good chain. The service is formal enough to make it feel like a special night. The lighting in the booths gives you a feeling of privacy. The menu is diverse and reasonably priced.

worst service in town??????. I wonder if the last reviewer actually has the ability to read. in no where on the menu does it state that a salad is free. In fact there is a charge for all add on salads. I can see why he would be embarrassed,HE IS A MORON. I have been eating at J. Alexanders for years now and have nothing but the best to say. The staff is quick and courteous and the food is constantly up to par. A great place to eat for a business lunch or a nice dinner.

If you like big chain Restaurants. Average Chain Restaurant, but what is Cajun about it? I could not find any authentic Cajun or Creole dishes.

Unheard of Value, Service and Quality. Take everything you wanted to enjoy at a Friday's or Chili's or barbecue house or steak house -- and multiply by 3! J Alexander's blew me away. The staff are fast, courteous and knowledgeable. The food has that little extra that makes it an experience, not just a pleasure -- like the Maytag bleu cheese cole slaw. Wine list is short but well chosen, the ribs are heavan. The Key Lime pie is best -- even compared to Key West. I went one night, then a day of business, and went back the next night!
