It's The Real Thing.
When Tampa was the cigar center of the world, thousands of Cuban, Spanish, and Italian cigar workers knew they had a neighborhood cafe that served heaping dishes of their favorite foods at reasonable prices.
Most of the factories are gone and the Latin population has moved westward from Ybor City and West Tampa. Here on West Columbus Drive, not far from the football stadium, are several authentic blue collar working people's restaurants. The menus have changed little over the years and neither have the prices.
Lincoln Restaurant is a favorite for it is easy to locate and to park. I love to take Northerners here since they are shocked by the prices ... then shocked again when they see the amount of food packed onto a plate.
Please don't just order Arroz Con Pollo (chicken and yellow rice). Try the Palomilla Steal, the fish "A La Rusa." Lincoln can do paella and steaks and seafood.
And don't forget the flan for desert or guava shell with cream cheese.

THE FAST FRIENDLY SERVICE , I RECEIVED FROM THIS PLACE. I WAS ADVISED OF THE NEW HOURS
FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY UNTIL 11PM WICH IS GREAT BECAUSE SOMETIMES I GET OFF FROM WORK VERY LATE
