Volunteer - forget about it!

Volunteer - forget about it!
I went to a recent volunteer oreintation meeting at Tampa Humane Society and the room was packed - maybe 65+ people, and they do this 2 times a month! As we went around the shelter it was obvious that they already had more than enough volunteers.
When I tried to volunteer they had a hard time finding me anything to do as there were at least 5 other volunteers wanting to do the same job.
So nice place, pleasant people, but too many volunteers!

Terrific site for information, especially for kids. Would add a good deal more pictures of animals of all types assisted by this organization, including horses and other non-tradtional pets or domesticated animals.
