Good But.....
Good atmosphere, especially out on the deck. Some of the food is really good while other dishes lack flavor.
Staff for the most part are friendly.
One thing however that really kind of irritated me and my friends was having to pay for side salads we would have never ordered if it weren't for the waitress making it seem as if it were included with the meal. Sort of a cheap trick to get a little more money out of customers in my opinion.
Bad Time!. I hardly have anything bad to say about a resturant, but this time stands out for a bad time. I will never be back! Bad server who did not bring have of what we asked for. Terrible food, and the drinks where watered down! No fun place to be!!!
Nice place, but be careful.
I used to kind of like this place, but after one of the valets ran me down and broke my leg....lets just say I dont like it anymore. Since BB contracts their valet service out to 717, they didnt want anything to do with what happened. All I was doing was stopping in to get food.....but I never got any food...just bills and laying around my house for a couple months healing.
In my opinion, they should have taken greater concern that a patron was hurt in their parking lot. This was ridiculous!!!!! As I see from other comments, they dont care too much for their customers.
DONT GO! If you do, be careful!
great place to eat. this place was very good.....will definitely be back. great food and great service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GLASS in food!. Do not eat at Bahama Breeze, Tampa...ever. I cut my mouth on an inch-long piece of **glass** in their black bean soup! The worst part was their reaction. They claim it must have been from a one in a million shot when the fragment flew across the floor after a waiter dropped a glass several feet anyway. Yet they showed no concern for fragments falling in anyone else's food at neighboring tables! I was sitting with my three young nieces and who knows what could have happened in any of us swallowed the glass. For this lovely dining experience (and a napkin soaked with bloood), their response was simply to have us fill out a report and not pay for a meal that we never got to eat anyway!
Great outside dining patio!. The pizzas are the best. A streched dough with with toppings that do not overpower. A nice patio to enjoy your lunch, although a night and with the live music it can get a bit crowded. The only drawback, on the intercoastal at low tide it can get a little stagnet and smelly outside.
Really Amazed at the quality of the food. Ok I thought it was a tourist trap type of place before I ever visited. But anytime out of towners come in for a visit they want to eat close to the water. I first had just appetizers the first few time we went and they were great. Went back for dinner and I had one of the best filet mignon ever. My husband had fish in a sack which he just could not compliment enough about it. For a chain restaurant this is well above average.

The Scene
Located on Rocky Point, tucked away off the Courtney Campbell Causeway, Bahama Breeze looks like a plantation-style house painted with bright lights, its neon sign facing Tampa Bay.
The Food
The food may be a local favorite--Caribbean flavors infused in dishes like the spicy-sweet jerk chicken pizza, creamy paella or the buttery conch chowder--but the crowds form on Friday nights, gathering during happy hour and staying through the night. It's impossible not to meet people at the congested outdoor patio and bar. Athletes are abundant, although not as easily noticeable as at Whisky Joe's, a neighboring bar. Still, plenty of Devil Ray, Buccaneer, Lightning and Storm players frequent the place.
Not your usual chain est.. Hey Bahama Breeze prepares some awesome food. The staff has personality and is attentive to details. I was really surprised. I thought it was limited to a frat party drinking joint. (You can have that too but the dining room is a great place to enjoy a great hot meal). The kitchens are huge and in view. The bartender was hot and my date felt very special.
Not All That. Been there several times. It is over crowded. The service is poor. (seated 8 at a table which should seat 6). More of a tourist trap than a treasure. Many tourists, and not a place to meet locals
