Perfection. A steak this good from a chain? Crazy. I've been to this place once, so I'm not a regular -- though I would be if I could afford it. Yes it's expensive but worth every penny.

Best in Tampa. I've dined in almost all of Tampas steakhouse's and Ruth's Chris is the best. The service is impeccable, down to the cloth napkin that is given to coincidw with the color of your pants/dress. Quality of steak is unmatched. Go with a Ny Strip Pittsburgh style and you will leave happy. Best place in town to celebrate an occasion or conduct business

This offshoot of a popular New Orleans hangout for politicians features decor of dark woods and comfortable booths, with a separate bar scene. Nice place great service good food... This was my first time at Ruth Chris, I will come back for sure. The steak was very good. I ordered mine med well it came out med, but the quality of the meat made up for it not being exactley wright.. Robert was our waiter and he did a top notch job always on time, and always keeping our drinks full.. The host greated us and we were off to our table very promt in getting us to our table.. I have ate at many resturants in Tampa and I think Burns is the best over all, But Ruths is a very close second.. I will definetly recommend..

LOVED IT!!!. My friend and I went to Ruth's Chris in March and this was the first fancy steakhouse that I had ever been to. It was such an amazing experience. The service was great, the food was great and so was the atmosphere. It was expensive but well worth saving up to go to treat yourself! We got the porterhouse for 2 and it was hands down the best steak that I have EVER had (sorry DAD!) I would love to go again so I guess its back to saving!!!

Decent Steak, Nice place overall. There are so many steak restaurants in Tampa I would recommend over Ruth's Chris....but Ruth's Chris is well known in the US and I think that is where most of the hype comes from. Interesting story behind the place itself, but other than that I would say the food is just "good." (I am from Kansas City afterall, I know a great steak when I taste one, and this is not "great") I have a problem with the 500 degree sizzling plates because they do continue to "cook" the steak on it's way from the kitchen...so a medium-rare steak becomes closer to medium, a big no-no in my book. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is great, however. If you go to eat there, plan on spending quite a bit on the ala carte menu.

Great Steak!. Ruths Chris has a formal atmosphere, very friendly employees, and excellent food. It is a wonderful place for a romantic dinner or a business meeting. A word of warning- as good as the food is it is over priced, so be prepared to spend if you go here.

Over Rated. We have been several times and found Ruth's too loud. Very hard to enjoy a meal with others. As for the food, not that great for the money. The steak is over rated for the price. Had no flavor for whats should be a great steak. The service is not great. We just came back from San Francisco and could not believe the difference in service out there to the service in Tampa bay area. We have had excellent service other places and expected the same at Ruth's. May consider going back if they change.

Melt In Your Mouth Goodnessssssssss. Read the review from the birthday girl and all I can say is, Hun next time you and your boyfriend should go back to Denny's where you are used to. This is the finest Steak House in Florida, bar none. Maybe there is ever flowing Southern Comfort in Dade City, but even the best run out of things, oh except maybe ABC, seem to know a lot about that. Maybe they disappointed you when the wine came & you couldn't screw off the top! Look you stay at the Flying J and let true beef lovers have your share. Keep up the great work. I only have two steak houses Ruth Chris & Bern's no others even come close. 5 stars

Not at all as expected. I heard some good things about Ruth Chris and yesterday was my birthday so I went with my boyfriend and we were both expecting great things. We were both sorely disappointed.

The steak is so not worth the money, perhaps these folks who rant about the steak here, never really had a good cut of meat. The au gratin potatoes were bland and the potatoes themselves tasted "old".

The server was snooty, but it IS a snooty restaurant. His mixed drink wasn't THAT great and bar had somehow run out of Southern Comfort so something was substituted. Please tell me how does a bar that boast itself on being some grand thing run out of Southern Comfort... Is there an ABC nearby, run over and get a bottle!

As an insulin dependent diabetic, this place is SO NOT WORTH the calories!!!!! I have not been this disappointed in a meal in a very long time.
