Boogie Nights
It seems that everyone here looks like they model, but left the "I'm too sexy" attitude at home, making it an attractive atmosphere without all the pretension. Velociti is a smallish dance bar with its own name. The torch-lit outdoor bar is technically Hyde Park Caf¿. Groovy oil projector lighting illuminates the globes on the wall making it feel like a 3-D video game. Some of the best DJ talent in the city spins for the crowd on the awesome terrazzo dance floor, a pure, booty-shaking pleasure.
Who Are You?
The pretty lady won't let you into the VIP back bar? Don't sweat it. You're not missing much, and the hotties are on the dance floor anyway. A less crowded space and top-notch service are the real pluses. It's definitely VIP, but not as friendly.

I dress well, I tip well, and I bring friends. You would think I would get treated with a little respect. I couldn't even figure out which door to go in, and the doormen and women were too concerned about the ladies trying to get in the VIP to give me the time of day. Way too much attitude for me. I would never recommend to a friend!!! Although once I was inside, the bartenders knew who was paying the tab and treated me very well... My female friends weren't happy that I was getting served before them!!! That's a first!

The place could be a bit bigger but its good! Although i agree with the velvet ropes and the VIP area,come on people its Tampa..not Las Vegas...attitudes were every where..but all in all it was fun!
