A very pretty place with amazing seafood. We came because we wanted stone crabs and ordered one pound for the table as our appetizer - yum! We ordered scallops with the butternut squash risotto and seabass for our dinner. The fish was so fresh, it just flaked off in tender pieces, it was mouth watering. I plan on returning.

Our second favorite restaurant in Tampa next to Berns. We are regulars at this restaurant for fresh seafood and have been patronizing Mangroves for 8 years. The seafood is delicious and ALWAYS Fresh! The Tuna tartar is the absolute best I have ever had, it is like a dessert to me. Berns & Mangroves - The Best in Tampa!

Our second Valentines Day Dinner at Mangroves and we were very impressed. They had a special menu with 4 courses and the meal was well worth the money. We had the crab cakes and the shrimp in the puff pastry with the truffled cream sauce, lobster bisque and salad. we even had a second bowwl of soup it was so good. For entrees we had the Alaskan crab legs and the strip steak with the shrimp. The service, presentation, quality & taste of the food was A+ This is our special occassion spot.

Mangroves is awesome. The decor is beautiful and modern, the food has a beautiful presentation to compliment it's excellent taste, and the service is stellar. Plus it is in a location, close to nite life and dessert/coffee bars. I am a hotel concierge, and I always recommend Mangroves to my guests. :)

after a crummy day went to mangroves and had such a good time. the food was so good, great waiter and yummy drinks. i left with a smile and cant wait to come back. the salmon with the beets is incredible

Truly, the best fish i have ever had. And if you dont try the beef tartar, it is literally sinful its so good! Debbie, Sam, and their staff go the extra mile to make dining a great experience.

I'm a connoisseur of margaritas... and the bartender at Mangroves made me the best one that has ever crossed my lips. I had two. Oh.. and the meal was incredible.. service professional.. and the guests oh-so attractive. Consider it a treat to oneself.. go to Mangroves.

All in One!. We went with group for a birthday dinner and bottle service. We ate in the upstairs nook where we ended up staying for the late night. We shared appetizers of crab cakes, mussels, short ribs and mac and cheese with crab. All delish! I split the blue mango salad and split the seabass.The fish was so fresh and tasty. Jason took great care of us and set us up with Justina for the birthday party. dj Mike was awesome; he played every request. If you are looking for a place that you can have dinner and dance Mangroves is IT!!!
