Mangroves Bar & Grill

All in One!. We went with group for a birthday dinner and bottle service. We ate in the upstairs nook where we ended up staying for the late night. We shared appetizers of crab cakes, mussels, short ribs and mac and cheese with crab. All delish! I split the blue mango salad and split the seabass.The fish was so fresh and tasty. Jason took great care of us and set us up with Justina for the birthday party. dj Mike was awesome; he played every request. REALLY???. The last reviewer was right! What is up with this place? The mac and cheese tastes like that boxed stuff we used to eat as kids, the whole dining experiance is totally different! Did you guys change where you get your food? Go for a cheaper product? I'm not sure about that smell the last person was talking about, but the food has changed for the worst! Can't understand why a place would up and change a good thing, man I used to love this place, now it looks like I'm on the hunt for another place that has enough sense to leave well enough alone!!! I'll give it one more try next month, but guy's, do what you gotta do to get back to the way it was!!…

What Was That SMELL????????. Something has changed with this place (and it is not for the better). I regularly dine out in South Tampa (Mangroves had been one of my favorite spots). However, after having dinner there last week I can tell you that something is different!
