Authentic Irish, could use a pool table and a few more beer selections, but overall very good.
Authentic Irish bar, good waitstaff, plenty of seating, great pub food. Small dart board area, no pool table... regular Irish beer selection but nothing too exciting. Good live music expecially Sundays. Definitely worth checking out if even for just a drink or two, no cover.

Perfect pints here.
The thatched roof and cottage-like building make this Irish bar feel more authentic than your run-of-the-mill pub. Inside, you'll find bartenders who all have brogues and scores of customers who are also Irish nationals. Along with that, you'll find plenty of friendly regulars. You can't stop in for a pint and not make a new friend. The menu, stocked with Irish favorites, can be hit or miss, but the potato leek soup and big salads are worth a try. Plus, the bartenders pour the best pint of Guinness in town.

Unwind with a frothy Guinness and some serious Irish culture at this neighborhood pub..
The Scene
From the walls covered in IRA propaganda, photos and maps to the thickly accented bar staff, the Fields is as Irish as it gets. Bartenders pour the best pint of Guinness in Tampa and offer a fine selection of Irish whiskeys in their full bar. A simple wooden bar, tables, booths and an outdoor deck allow plenty of room for revelers, but you'll wait extra long on weekends. Uncomplicated and unrivaled, it's a perfect weeknight stop for a pint with the pals.
The Draw
Entertainment (Wed-Sun) is of the standard Irish-folk variety, but this is such an authentic setting that a loud and off-key rambler is somehow appropriate. On the weekday nights when there's no live entertainment, the bartenders take over the CD player, playing everything from traditional Celtic to U2 to Black 47 (all Irish, of course).
