I love this bar!!!.
We had such a great time there this week is the first time that have been at the Double Decker we just moved to Tampa and our friends told us to check out the "DD" in Ybor they come here all the time. My best friend and I had DAS BOOT hahaha what a fun time.... We drank the big Boot 96 oz of beer lol....the beerseletion they have on tap ia outstanding a bunch of imported beers from all over the world and 2-4-1 Happy Hour can't ask for more....the bartender was so funny he craked us up the whole time we where there, then we found out about the Beergarden ;-) wow
This will be defnitly my new hang out spot, what a cool place!!! It's on the main strip right on 7th AVE can't miss it right next to the Sun Trust bank.
Terrible phone service, answer the phone!. It's pretty bad when you can't even get though on the phone line during the day. My friend Randy and myself wanted to know if certain beers and food were available to no avail! Know one ould answer the phone except the fax machine. Hope the fod and drink service is better than the phone service.
It may not boast the most creative name on the block--but remains a requisite suds stop for Ybor regulars..
Bar None
It's hard to feel transported back to Limerick, Ireland when there's the roar of drunken and scantily-clad masses outside on Seventh, but the Irish Pub does as good a job as can be expected. The walls are crowded with pub paraphernalia: pastoral scenes of Ireland, Guinness posters, mirrors embossed with fancy beer logos, rusty street signs in Gaelic.
The Scene
Clamber up the staircase with a pint and relax upstairs, grab a table by the window for prime people-watching, or snag one of the coveted bar seats and chat up the loquacious bartenders. Choose from 23 drafts, including the requisite Guinness and Harp's, or a staggering variety of watery domestic brews and a full bar.
Noise Factor
On weekday nights the pub stays comfortably chatty. On weekend nights, a boisterous crowd coupled with live music means the noise level goes up, up, up to almost unbearable levels. That doesn't dissuade the masses, however, from packing this popular haunt to the gills from Thursday through Saturday.
