This Place Is Awesome. I went there about a month ago on a Friday night for my first time. I really had a great time because the atmosphere is awesome and the bartenders really know how to throw a party. Capitan Kirk is also one of the best acoustic musicians that I have heard in a long time. I really like the fact that this bar offers a really good selection of crafts beers and Irish whiskey's.

I enjoyed myself so much that i consider myself a weekend regular. I also make it a point to take all my friends and family that come into town to the James Joyce.

Love this place. The Joyce has been one of my favorite bars for about 6 years. Hidden upstairs filled with all kinds of people it has a great atmosphere. The staff is friendly, the drinks are strong, and the live music is great. Seems like every night they have some kind of drink special going on and don't forget about the midget giving out free shots on the bar. Definetly worth stopping by.

love!. The Joyce has been one of my favorite bars for the last 7 years. Hidden upstairs filled with all kinds of people. Everyone is so friendly...the staff and also the other patrons. Musicians are always fun and singing the best cover songs. Definatly worth stopping in for a pint.

Best bar in Ybor!. Great pub to relax and have a drink. The staff is friendly, the drinks are great, and they have live music on the weekends. What else could you want?

Pervert Leprechaun. They have this perv dressed up like a leprechaun that was dry humping the light post out front. Security is also less than friendly. Atmosphere was ok, nothing special. Bars on either side much better.

nice place, but beware of the owner. Overall a nice place, they have my favorite cider Strongbow on draft, plus they know how to poor Guiness correctly. Bartenders and bouncers are very nice and friendly. Most are musicians themselves. Occasionally some decent live music. The only major concern is the owner, who needs to take some anger management classes and stop physically assaulting his clients (or refrain from drinking so much hard liquor). If not for unruly owner, would give 4 stars

Good beer, nice view, bartenders who remember your name.... comfortable place to sit and chat on weekdays. Weekends you need to be alittle louder if you want to talk over the music. The beer is great, always cold and the shots of Jameson fill the glass to the curve. Bartenders are friendly and give good head...on the beer. the music is usually a solo act but a good one at that.
