Not quite the mold of a traditional sushi house ... this is Japanese with a distinctly Yborian influence.. The Scene
Located on the strip in Ybor City, Sushi on Seventh feeds on the party scene with a high-energy, see-and-be-seen atmosphere replacing the tranquil setting of most sushi places in Tampa. If your date doesn't like raw fish, don't worry: Sushi on Seventh has a wide selection of Asian-American entrees, pastas and even pizza--the Italian roll.

The Food
The menu features a long list of sashimi. If you can't decide on one, order the sample platter with an assortment of 17 pieces. Specialty rolls have names like Godzilla (crab and cream cheese), Ybor (tuna, crab, and scallions) and Volcano (tuna and cream cheese with spicy conch).
