As of 7/7/2008, Joe Haskin's Bicycle shop is open on Tuesday - Friday 9am - 6pm Saturday 9am - 4pm Closed Sunday & Monday. Great local bike shop, for anyone interested in supporting local small businesses. Joe's a pretty straight-forward guy. Cheapest prices in Tampa. Wide selection of New and Used bikes. He recommends and sells products he trusts - doesn't just labels in front of you and ring them up. Far cheaper supply costs than stores like Flying Fish Bikes (previously Dud Thames) on Macdill. He has an incredibly ghetto answering machine. You can't leave messages, so be sure to call during hours and if you don't get an answer, call two or three times. Also has a son (Steve Haskins) who does mobile bicycle repairs - he comes straight to your home! Both are highly skilled. Hope this review is helpful. I'd highly suggest them both. For everyone who hasn't posted a review on insiderpages ... The 5 stars rating stand for 1 - Unsatisfactory 2 - Wouldn't Recommend 3 - Satisfactory 4 - Very Good 5 - World Class No doubt a 3-star rating at least, but world class is difficult to find anywhere.

Old School Shop that keeps up with the New Gear Good Prices and This Guy really knows his stuff ! Been around forever - unlike some shops that are here today gone tomorrow.

Joe Haskin has been in this shop for many years now, he has a laid back attitude and wants you to come in and enjoy yourself (he has a bar with snacks and drinks) and a tv to watch, since he knowsy ou will be spending some buckeroos on bike parts anyway. his prices are not that bad, but theyre what you'd expect. ask Joe about his movie collection in the back!
