Place Rocks

Hattricks is just a fun place to hang. When I am in Tampa, Hattricks is home. Great food, great service and sports variety. I am looking at these other reviews and quite frankly, these poor folks just don't get it and probably are out of their element. Most Mcdonalds now have some beautiful lcds in them.

• Cons: The shuffleboard is rigged

Monkey Business

I have no idea what is going on in this place but both my wife and I agreed that there is some monkey business going on. the owner just act like a paranoid freak . He thinks everybody is out to get him, and that his place can do no wrong. Is this customer service? I come from the old school where the customer is always right. Within reason, of course. We merely sent one of our appetizers back because it wasn't hot and the next thing I know this long haired individual is hovering around our table acting like we did something wrong. This place is overpriced too. WE WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE. BAD EXPERIENCE.

Ouch...Stay away. Also, not 911/Fire/EMS friendly

Although this bar has cold (but expensive - $5.25 for domestic draft) beer, good food and mostly friendly staff, if the management or owner finds out or assumes you are in the 911 field, forget it....he'll order his staff to no longer serve you, and like a light switch, the staff will immediately turn into emotionless drones and walk right by you with no longer providing a fun, and friendly atmosphere. Strange happenings here....

One of my visits yielded this result: My pal and I ordered appetizers, after already spending a good amount of money on drinks and a full dinner. The server, 18 and no life experience, brings us an additional appetizer that I did not order. Her response was "yeah ya did"....I explained I may have read it from the menu when looking but I know what I ordered...nicely of course. Within one minute of the item being refused, we were told by the once friendly bartender whom we had been talking to all night that we were blacklisted for the evening by the owner, and would no longer be served. This was accompanied by no longer being looked at, or talked to by employees in the bar....very odd place. If you can look past this issue, enjoy...BUT beware.....
