Painfully Slow Service. we were told there would be a wait when we arrived (a party of two). there were lots of seats at the bar so we said we would have a drink while waiting. we sat for about 10 minutes when a waiter took our order for two glasses of wine. 15 minutes later, still no drinks but our table was ready. 10 more minutes before another waiter came and took our drink orders. we got our drinks quite promptly but the waiter disappeared and no one came back to take our dinner order. we then noticed a large party that came in after us already had their food!! finally a waitress came over and apologized and she tried very hard to make up for the fact that we were forgotten. the food wasn't ok when it finally came but not anything too impressive and definitely not worth the long painful wait. after we got our check the waitress came over with a glass of wine that was "mistakenly" poured for another table, and offered it to us. we said no thanks, we were ready to go... were we supposed to share the one glass of wine???

Mediocre. I have only been to Spain once but our experience was mediocre. The service was pretty slow. The food, not impressive. The atmosphere is interesting, everything is white! There was a musician there that night and they couldn't seem to figure out how to work the microphone....the result being our dinner was punctuated by the sound of piercing feedback over and over again. I have heard from other people that it is better at lunch.

Perfect!. I work downtown and visit Spain quite frequently for lunch. All the food including the daily specials are great, but the best is the Cuban Pork... in a sandwich or over rice its the best in the city! Spain has a great happy hour with strong Sangria, and with a nice atmosphere you might even stay for dinner.
