Best taste of Old Florida

Willie's has the best, most tender gator anywhere. Whenever we have visitors, we always get boxes to go or take them to Willie's. It's too bad there aren't more restaurants with the friendly home feel that this place has. I just like the location too. Down by the railroad tracks, the decor of critters hanging on the wall. If you like fishing, you'll get a kick out of the monsters hanging around. We've lived all around the world, though natives of Florida. From Europe to the Caribbean, we've dined at some pretty fine and cool places, but Willie's is at the top of our list. Great staff is very friendly, too.
- Pros: Gator and the crawfish when paired with the recommended sauces; it's close to home
- Cons: Only cons are that Willie's closed Sundays and Mondays
