Love this place!.
I have been going to Turkey creek stables since I moved to FL in 1996. I love it.
I have been riding horses all my life. This is only the 2nd place I have ever ridden that lets you go out without a guide. (oh, I`m 50) Most places put you on a half dead horse and put you in a single file line while the guide walks you slowly around the trails. Not worth paying for. Speaking of paying; they have not raised their rates since I`ve been going there. It is CHEAP compaired to most places. Horses are unpredictable. I recommend helmets for kids.
The trails are great and the horses are chosen by how much expereince the rider has had. I love riding Mustafa. I have never had a bad experience there. Thanks Turkey Creek!!…
Love this PLace and Would go again. I went on the 8th of Feb.. I loved it and i would go again with no doubt.. people were really nice and the hour ride was perfect... I have my 2 year old with my husband and my 4 year old was on a pony.. It was a great time... The price is also amazing..…
IF ALL THIS IS TRUE, THEN WHO HAS IT BEEN REPORTED TO?.
These reviews are HORRIBLE., and to all those who have been in this horrible condition, HAVE YOU REPORTED IT TO THE "AG UNIT" FOR HILLSBORO county??? If you have not done so, THEN DO IT, as I sure as
hell will be. I am ONLY concerned for the horses, (I have been rescuing animals for 25 years), and I have to say, this state has more animal ignorance than any i have seen before. SO PLEASE REPORT IT, ...the number is...813 247 8605 ...they WILL send someone out ...just keep in mind how busy they are.
Abused horses , from the past or whatever, should never be used as "public" horses.....Unless they have had years of rehab by professional ADULTS, not children. Please call the number, and if enough call, they will do something!…
Horse back riding is a dangerous sport.
Best for experienced riders, the real cowboy types will like this country retreat on the edge of Medard park in hillsborough county.
It's a rescue farm, they train and trail ride the horses. Many guides are just kids, but they get lots of experience with many types of horses.
Horses are unpredictable. They are real live horses folks. If you wanna pony ride, don't come here... Try the circus. They will hold a reins for you and walk you around a little circle.
If you want a challenge, and are a decent rider (you might endure a horse that kicks, bucks or swings it's head.) this is a good place to ride.
Once a month you can go to see barrel races, and they have a nice tack shop.…
