Wear a Hard Hat. When my dining companion and I first saw this restaurant, we both thought that it was out of business, but there were people inside of what looked like a falling-down shack. The dirty windows, cobwebs on the lights, and the dark restroom, all gave the word "country" a bad meaning. The BayouBull steaks on a bun contained so much fat that it seemed like surgery before we were able to eat. The collard greens were just a soggy mass without much taste. The baked beans and cole slaw were good. No guest checks here, just a calculator at the front counter. Now try to remember what you ate, and how much it was on the menu. Not much to recommend this place, except the baked beans and cole slaw.

The amount of food you get is eclipsed by the quality of the food itself. It is a lot of great food. The bat is delicious, don't be afraid of something new! The menu is supposed to be redone and is gonna have value meal type deals, where you get a sandwich, side and drink for a low price or some such. Don't quote me on that though. Bring the family and eat butt loads of food.

Their BBQ is Great, but their Steaks are even greater..
What a pleasent surprise. Don't judge a book or in this case a restaurant by it's cover. Oh man, what a steak, the best I have ever had. The family had their "Bubba Burger", fede four of them and they loved it.
Totally a family run restaurant, watch out for the tricycle in the middle of the floor. This place is something out of the past and must be owned by a country raised family. I will bring back every body I can to try this place. The only problem is they only open Wedsday thru Saturday.
Good food, rustic atmosphere. The place is early Americana with the requisite rusted truck in front and the old signs nailed to walls and ceiling inside. They don't have a liquor license due to their proximity to a church but you may BYOB. Good bbq. The pulled pork was good but the ribs were a little overdone. Very good steaks. Very casual and very family oriented.
