Yum!. Tres Amigos is one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area! The salsa is delicious and all the dishes I have tried are very good. My favorite are the corn cakes! So good!

Cinco De Mayo or Cinco Disaster?. What ever happened to the customer is always right

At Tres Amigo's on Cinco de Mayo, it was packed which

was ok given the latin holiday and all. What disappoints

me is that the staff should have been more prepared for

the stress that it was going to cause them trying to

take GOOD care of there customers. Me and my friend's

were seated outside waiting for our names to be called

for a table it was a long wait and we NEVER heard our

name called. So While my friends went to the bathroom

the hostess told me "I called your name a million times

I even went on the bullhorn and called it . Sorry "

with attitude and everything.

First of all There was no need for an attitude.

She could of just simply said we called your name

couldnt find you but let me find you a table. That is

customer service but one could only hope right.

So I went and got my girl friends from the bathroom,

and My friend asked again if she called her name if

they still had a a table and AGAIN with the attitude,

granted we'd had maybe 2 drinks each; so maybe

the girl thought we were drunk. Not the case in the least so

there is no excuse for what the hostess did next

she called my friend a PAYING customer a B*tch. Of course

my friend stood her ground and asked her what she said.

When we tried talking to the management, and to the Owner we

ended up getting kicked out. and the girl was not disciplined at all

the management there took there employee's side before they took a

customers. and that my friends is Wrong. I work in Food Service and

Hospitality and I'm in management. You do everything you can to please the customer

And not kick them out because your too busy to deal with them!

Food Was On The Menu...Literally!. No literally, the menus we got were smeared with some other person's food. I opened the menu and was disgusted by what appeared to be dried, crusty salsa or something on more than one place. We ate there maybe 8 times before and the food was good, service was so-so. Reading kaytap's revue, we agree that could be possible as the surroundings are rather "quaint". We haven't gone back in over a year and after the "extras" in the food and the managements carefree attitude described in her post, we won't be going back. Hey Tres, CLEAN YOUR MENUS TO START WITH. Also getting what you ordered with nothing more would be nice. WOW! I think I'm gonna hurl!

if you like eating cockroaches.... my fiance' and some friends were excited to try this place out one night. the excitment quickly turned into discust when i found a cockroach in the ground beef of my enchilladas!!! being that i was 8 months pregnant i wanted to throw up all over the table, i was furious. when i told the manager he decided that he wanted to be funny and responded w/ "at least you found a whole roach and not half of one!" i didnt think it was very funny. 3 days later my fiance's friend dined there and found a nail in her food. yes like a hammer and nail. what are the odds. lets just say you get more at this place then what you ask for. i will never go there again or ever recommend it to anyone! STAY AWAY!

Margaritas and affordable Mexican fare in a campy, family-friendly atmosphere.. In Short
Bright colors and big booths make this quick-service, sit-down Mexican restaurant a cheery choice for group outings. The traditional menu--including classic enchiladas, soft and crispy tacos, mesquite-grilled shrimp, sizzling fajita platters and made-from-scratch salsas--features lunch specials, create-your-own combinations and to-go options for more fast-paced patrons. Tequila makes its appearance in house margaritas and cocktails. Bringing the little ones? They're catered to with a kid-friendly, Tex-Mex menu.
