The Scene – Picture wood, leather, carpet, steel, stone, tile and glass all intertwined, working together to produce perfect unity. An open kitchen, flat-screen televisions and large windows offer a perfect pre-dining atmosphere. The adjacent martini bar opens at night for evening libations. – – The Food – The menu is creative and detailed, with mouthwatering accents such as apple-smoked bacon and chipotle-lime vinaigrette. A lunch menu provides most of the same dinner treats at a lesser price. The sesame-seared tuna is wonderful, cooked medium rare over a bed of…
Editor's Tips
- Parking:
- A best bet is the garage at the corner of Second Avenue and Second Street. It's only a $1 with validation.
its sorry to see dans letting shady businesses use his name.

im not sure how the food is there at the tavern as i had to leave florida due to autoway nations poor business ethics and fraudulant sales tactics at there honda clearwater u.s 19 north location which dan marino is a spokesman for . i sure hope he reads this or is imformed of it and the other peoples complaints about this company and that he quits his association with them and letting a company like this use his picture and good honest name.
- Pros: dan marino stands for honesty.
- Cons: autoway nation does not.
Great pre game meeting place for dinner and drinks

We decided to head over to Dan Marino's for a pre-game meal before the BoSox vs Devil Rays game and were delightfully surprised with the diverse menu. The Lettuce Wraps we ordered as an appetizer were beautifully presented and full of flavor, and light enough to leave room for the rest of our meal. We ordered the chicken parm and the ahi tuna. Both meals were excellent. The tuna was top quality and exceptional.
Although it was an extremely busy Saturday night due to the BoSox being in town, the high energy staff was extremely attentive and we received our food within 10 mins. The manager came by to make sure our meal met our expectations...and it did. We're looking forward to another outstanding experience on our next visit.
- Pros: Fun atmosphere, lively music, high energy staff.
- Cons: Sometimes crowded
Going Going Gone

Let me first say that I have been a patron of Marino's for a long time. Two managers Miron and Jeremy bought me a drink the first day I walked in years ago. I have been a loyal customer through all of the ups and downs. I must say tin the last two years I have seen a great restaurant slowly sink into abyss. I have seen managers argue with people about their food and servers avoid people. Food is now average at best and the place could use a nice cleaning' especially in the bar. It has a fowl smell that even the staff talks about. Hopefully someone will read this and choose to go somewhere else and the managers will make changes to "right the ship" or they may find more of their "regulars" jumping overboard.
Great service, delicious food.

We went there with a big group on a busy night and they handled everything superbly. Nice surroundings. Courteous staff. Also had a date night there and the food and wine were delicious. Will go again.
Bad food, even worse music.

As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was in a cheesy lounge complete with the bad music. My date and I sat down and were not greeted for a good 10 minutes along with the table next to us. We ordered bruschetta and french onion soup for appetizers. Then came the lobster ravioli. It was the most disgusting dish that I have ever tasted! The tiny shrimp on top had a gray-ish tint and the pink sauce left a sour aftertaste that I couldn't get rid off. Not being ones to complain, we waited for our server to ask how our meal was just to let her know that it was not very satisfactory. She never asked! So, we just decided to write that place off for good and my suggestion is that, unless if you are a rabid Marino fan, stay away!
- Cons: relatively expensive, cold food, elevator jazz muzak
