Where we Met!. I met my husband there 2 years ago today. It is crowded and you do pay a cover but it is well worth it. He is not blue collar as per the review before me. I would go back any day of the week. I didn't find the drinks watered down and I have drunk there many times.
Sorry to say, but it's a joke. Steer clear of it. If you want to go to a place where they overcharge for drinks, short pour, AND charge a cover... then by all means, go here. I was quite disappointed with this place, as I have recently moved here from NYC and was looking for a nice lounge to chill in. All this place has is a few well paid honeys in skimpy skirts and a sausage fest. I guess its good for the ladies, if they are looking for a shallow, self-absorbed scumbag to use them, but otherwise, I recommend a pass on this place. I wish they had Red Rock West down here, but unfortunately they don't. You'd be better off going to the Garden or Emeralds or Courigans. Even Mastrys has a better appeal than this scam joint. Good luck to ya. Peace out
Average Pick Up place. very crowded total "meat Market" Clientel is rather low class.Blue collar crowd. Music is too loud. Have to wait a long time for drinks. Average quality of the drinks and too expensive!!!
Fun night out!. I've been here many times, the drinks are always good and they always have good bands. Be prepared to spend a lot of money since drinks cost apprx $8/glass, but they are well worth it. Great atmosphere, good place to dance. People are fun and easy to talk to.
Where the beautiful people go to converse..
The Scene
An open nook adjacent to Dan Marino's Town Tavern on the second floor of BayWalk, you'll find girlfriends chatting everywhere. The attractive female bartenders, all dressed in black, draw in the male crowd. Sit at the lit marble-top main bar, which also opens to the outside balcony, and enjoy the live band that plays literally on top of the booze. Or grab a seat at a table or the circular bar in the back. Tampa Bay Storm coach Tim Marcum and local sports media members have been spotted here.
The Drinks
Try a homemade infused martini in various flavors ranging from $6.50 to $8. There's a decent array of imported beer such as Amstel Light and Heineken, and, of course, your basic watered-down domestics.
Check it out!!!!. After the lame crowds at Ybor, Martini Bar is a great change. There are very friendly and beautiful people. The band is awesome and when the DJ comes on there is a very upbeat vibe! It is an excellent place to hang out, people watch, meet people, and DANCE! I would highly recommend checking this place out!!
