Warm, Intimate, Very Attentive Staff and Excellent Food. This restaurant is the Grande Damme of St. Petersburg restaurants and with good reason. The staff is perfect, very professional and very enthusiastic about making your nite the best. The food is warm and familiar with exciting new twists...and manager Dominic makes the experience perfect.....

Great place to take your sweetheart. The food was great, and the service was excellent, but it was the waiter that made the meal. Make sure that you get Lewis to serve you; he was funny, helpful, professional, and couldn't have mad the experience any better! The spaghetti and meatballs are simply to die for.

Best Italian Grille in Sant Petersburg,Fl.. 4/30/11

Gratzzi's has taken dining to a new level. The food is even better then before when they were at Baywalk. Just a UNBELIEVEABLY. Fine dining at it's best.

Dine In, Never Take Out. Love eating at Gratzzi. Big mistake with take-out. Their chicken parmesan panini tasted like the frozen dinners my mom used to buy in the 60's!

Best little secret right in Baywalk. What a place to enjoy a quiet night with someone special or a great night out with friends. The food is amazing and the specials are definitely worth experiencing. The service is fantastic and takes you back to when eating out wasn't just about getting your water glass refilled. The staff provides excellent suggestions on the wine list, the menu and the desert list. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Lastly, the key lime pie is the best I have ever had combining the tartness of the lime with a nice, sweet sauce drizzled on the plate.

Delicious food, great service, nice wine list. Now this place is nice! Thanks to the help of our wonderful server we found our new favorite wine too. we often come to just graze through appetizers and share a bottle of vino. The prosciutto here is delicious. The mussells were to die for. Very gracious service let us linger and enjoy the evening. We even received a complimentary lemoncello for service being a little slow. (We didn't notice a problem!) Definitely a recommend, I hope they remain on for years!!

Best Italian west of Roma. We eat at Gratzzi a few times a month for two reasons; the food and the service. Dominic and Kevin are class acts. The servers are always top notch, courteous, and thoughtful. The food is alway impeccable. During the summers, they have their tour of Italy specials and you can sample food from all the various regions of Italy. They go out of their way to provide great service. As with any restaurant, there have been the rare occasions (two times in the past 2 years) that my meal was not up to par. They repalced it quickly and efficiently with many apologies. We've been to Roma many times and back in the States, nothing outside of NYC can even come close to what we had in Roma.

best italian food in the area. My husband and I go there every other week. The food is excellant and the service is suberb. It's the best place in town. The waiters, Chris, Robert, and the others are great. We will always go back. John and Lynn Alba. Dominic and Kevin are fantastic.

Good Choice. This is a good choice for Italian in St. Petersburg. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the service was good. An all around enjoyable evening. If there was any cons I would say the service was so fast that you felt they wanted the tables turning over.

A formal Italian restaurant for diners who appreciate excellent cuisine and superb service.. The Scene
Picture deep red walls, heavy with chandeliers and fresh flowers. It's formal, but it's not stuffy--patrons feel so relaxed they laugh out loud and keep the place humming with pleasant conversational horseplay.

The Food
Classic Italian, nearly perfectly prepared. Wonderful, homemade bread and fresh butter, a bright salad, full of fresh, crisped vegetables. Try the cheesy vegetable lasagna, bathed in a spritely tomato sauce. Any entree will do, as this is an unusually talented chef who runs an excellent kitchen. And go ahead and splurge on dessert--the cr?me brul?e is worth the calories.
