Lucy, you got some 'splaining to do now..
When Cuban Was King
Because if you haven't hit this hot little Latin club yet, well, you've got to be off your game. Set under the stars with an open-air dance floor and tiki-type bar, it's pure Copa Cabanna. And there's no pressure. You can just relax, sit back and sip a drink to the rita de la Noche (rhythms of the night) or if you're so inclined, you can get out there and salsa and meringe 'til the cows come home. Whatever you decide, it's worth stopping in just for the aura of this place. It's a throwback to Ybor's heyday when Cuban was king.
You're So Vain
Word of warning: this place is not for peacocks. Be prepared for the elements. And to sweat. You can go inside to the air-conditioned bar but there's not a lot of room to cha-cha in there. Speaking of the cha-cha, doing it in 95-degree heat and dripping humidity will do a number on the hair. But look at the pounds you'll melt off.--Jackie Andre

Overall disappointing. If you are South American or like a more varied latin music flavor you'll like this place (on Fridays). For one night. This club is so mediocre, even when its the only one of its kind, after a while you start wishing you lived in a major metropolitan city where places like this actually make an effort to be original. Going to this place gets boring after a few times. And at times it will make you want to rather drive to Miami for your latin dancing needs.
