The Tampa Bay Broadway Series attracts the most attention, and touring productions of shows like "Miss Saigon" and "Phantom of the Opera" have set national records for attendance.

Two years ago, the center began producing one grand opera in Carol Morsani Hall each spring, with renowned composer Anton Coppola leading the Florida Orchestra and a cast of international heavyweights. The results have been surprisingly successful, from both artistic and commercial standpoints. The hall itself is a delight for audiences, with an expansive proscenium stage, impeccable acoustics, and great sight lines. Tickets can be extremely pricey, depending on the event, but thanks to the taste and vision of center executive director Judy Lisi, few shows here will disappoint.
