St. Petersburg's answer to one-stop shopping and entertainment.. The Scene
A $40 million, Mediterranean Revival-style complex with more than 150,000 square feet of shopping and dining plus plenty of parking space. The two-story megaplex is expected to revitalize the downtown district and give the area a jolt it hasn't experienced in decades.



The Goods
The anchor is the Muvico BayWalk 20 movie theater. The 4,000-chair, all-stadium seating theater offers booming sound, top-shelf concessions and a kids' playroom that gives parents the option to drop the youngsters off for up to three hours for a small fee. Shops include Afterthoughts, Ann Taylor, Australian Creations, Cricket Shop, Hurricane Pass Outfitters, Key West Confections, People's Pottery and Sacino's Formal Wear. From the very affordable menu at the Adobo Grill to the hearty, though pricier entrees at Gratzzi, there's plenty of food options. Other eateries include Johnny Rocket's, Wet Willies, Dish and Dan Marino's Town Tavern.

Forget Ybor & Channelside. Everything you need and beautiful waterfront parks to boot! Parking is close by and cheap at the BayWalk Garage, (1 buck after 5:00 PM and on the weekends!), and if you are a big spender Valet parking will set you back a whopping $5. As mentioned before the area could use a good dance club but for going out on a date with dinner, movie and a romantic stroll on the waterfront BayWalk has no equal.

BayWalk Rules!. The BayWalk is a great place to go if your on a date, you could go to Jonny Rocket,s then a movie afterwards. If your hungry or just want a snack thers over 7 different places to eat. The MUVI CO. theater has good prices and good shows. The BayWalk was deffinatly a good expierience for me even though it was pooring outside! I LOVE Jonny Rockets, the atmosphere is terrific, and the old, still working, juke boxes are only 5 cents a song, and there oldies, wich match the atmosphere, the food is great and the prices are pretty good too! You should go to the BayWalk!
