Welcome to the antithesis of everything that is South Tampa..
The Scene
Celebrities need not apply at the Tiny Tap. This truly miniscule beershack is both hip and crappy at the same time, depending on what side of the morning you're on. Bring your own ambiance to this dive crammed with two decrepit pool tables and a few shoddy tables and chairs.
The Vibe
Cheap, cold beer attracts Gen-Xers and hard workers like bees to honey, but it's the jukebox featuring both Nirvana and Patsy Cline that keeps the atmosphere nice and dim. Small, yellow, and located near the railroad tracks off Howard, it's hard to miss this odd bar out in upscale South Tampa.
Drink Up
Convenience and tradition keep the Tap an insider's pick for a liquid lunch or convenient late-night suds stop. Definitely not a pick-up joint, patrons of the Tap can drown their thoughts while waiting to hear the lonesome moan of the passing freight trains.
