The Scene
Tucked on Eighth Avenue in between the now defunct Gyland's and the Orpheum, it's easy to miss this classy but tiny joint. A few tables and chairs crowd the small room, and the modest bar fills up quickly. A mirror behind the bar deceptively makes the space look bigger than it really is.
The Goods
Paying homage to the finer things in life, Fuma Bella specializes in two things: cigars and single malt scotches. The selection of stogies is small, yet selective, and scotch lovers can pick their poison from 21 varieties. A decent yet limited selection of drafts and high-end liquors rounds out the full bar offerings.
Staff Attitude
Consider the service schizophrenic. Sometimes mellow and friendly, other times so snooty it's practically unbearable. A good place for a quiet drink and conversation.

i havent ventured into Ybor too much lately (due to the crime), but this is one of the gems still remaining. Fuma Bella is exactly how you'd imagine a cool new york cafe, except it's here in tampa. the scotch drinks and relaxed atmosphere are unique and the clientele are nice and hip. my wife and i went here to kick back one night and it was well worth it

Located across from New World Brewery and next to the Orpheum, Fuma Bella is a slice of heaven in Ybor. Fuma sells high quality liquors, beers and mixed drinks in a hip artsy setting. The bar is very intimate, it seats only 5 people or so and there are 5 tables behind that. It??s the perfect place to stop in between bar hopping or for a night cap after a great meal. The bartender is always friendly and not over talkative. It??s a wonderful environment and is always full of interesting people. I recommend that you check it out. PROS: Great Atmosphere, people and drinks CONS:

Tired of the typical? There's a small subtle spot, with great lighting, smart drinks, and easy conversation. If you love jazz, old bricks, and a smooth scotch, this is the place to go. A little New York at the end of Ybor. PROS: great bartender, mood, atmosphere, drinks, people, energy CONS:
